Bellator champ-champ Ryan Bader will take a break from the heavyweight division as he moves back down to light heavyweight to defend his belt there in April. Bader himself announced Tuesday on his Instagram that he will be moving back down to 205lbs to defend his light heavyweight title. An opponent, date, or venue were not disclosed by Bader, but he told fans to expect news soon.

The sportsbooks have released prop bets for the UFC 246 press conference featuring superstar Conor McGregor and fan-favorite Donald Cerrone. McGregor meets Cerrone this Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada in what is McGregor’s comeback fight after 14 months away from the Octagon. In the days before the fight, the online sportsbook BetOnline released a number of prop bets for the event’s press conference, which takes place on Wednesday at the Pearl Theater in Vegas.

The upcoming UFC Brasilia card now has a main event, and it’s a good one. According to a report from Brazilian publication Combate, the March 14 card will be topped by a lightweight bout between established contenders Kevin Lee and Charles Oliveira. Kevin Lee will enter this contest with a massive, first-round head kick KO of the formerly undefeated Gregor Gillespie in the rear-view. Prior to this win, Lee experienced back-to-back losses at the hands of Rafael dos Anjos and Al Iaquinta. While he has experienced some setbacks recently, he recently sought a fresh start at the famed Tristar gym in Montreal, Quebec, and if his win over Gillespie is any indication, the move is paying dividends. Lee, who previously competed for the interim lightweight title, is 18-5 overall.

Speaking to ESPN, the official broadcast partner of the UFC, McGregor divulged that he made a hefty $50 million for his October, 2018 loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov. For his imminent scrap with Cowboy, he expects to earn a whopping $80 million, which he says will be the biggest payday of his MMA career.

Carlos Condit was hoping to get back on track to end 2019 before an injury forced him to withdraw from his scheduled fight with Mickey Gall at UFC Washington, DC.
