UFC President Dana White is sounding off on the recent fight purses in boxing and at the same time defending the league he has built. Dana White has come under fire for several years now concerning fighter pay in the UFC. High profile fighters have spoken out about fighter pay or lack thereof. Jake Paul, YouTuber and boxer, seems to have turned fighter pay into his personal vendetta, regularly calling out the UFC President.

Joe Lauzon will make the walk to the Octagon for the first time since October 2019 on Saturday night. Lauzon is set to open up the UFC 274 main card against Donald Cerrone in a fight between two legends. Although Lauzon picked up a first-round TKO win at home in Boston his last time out, he says COVID played a key role in keeping him on the sidelines.

Li Jingliang, (18-7 MMA), is looking for his next opponent after his loss to Khamzat Chimaev (11-0 MMA) back in October 2021 at UFC 267. That loss via technical submission in the very first round saw Li choked unconscious by a tight rear-naked choke.

UFC featherweight Dan Hooker has announced that he’s going to be returning to 155 pounds. ‘The Hangman’ was last seen in action at UFC London against Arnold Allen. Hooker’s first bout at featherweight since 2016 ended in a dramatic fashion. Allen demolished the New Zealander, finishing him via TKO in the first round. Some, including Israel Adesanya, thought the finish might’ve been premature.
