Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather has named his price for a potential rematch with former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor. Mayweather and McGregor met in the boxing ring in 2017, with the former improving to a fantastic 50-0 with a 10th-round TKO victory. Since then, there’s been plenty of talk about a potential rematch between the pair, and while Mayweather isn’t exactly chomping at the bit for that fight, it’s one he’d take for the right price.

UFC commentator Dan Hardy has updated on the status of his beef with famed MMA referee Herb Dean. Hardy, who spent many years competing in the UFC welterweight division, had words with Dean during a July 25 UFC card on Fight Island in Abu Dhabi. The incident occured during a fight between Francisco Trinaldo and Jai Herbert, when many onlookers—Hardy included—felt Dean stopped the action too late, subjecting the vanquished Herbert to unnecessary punishment.

UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya will undergo testing for a swollen pectoral muscle. Adesanya returned to action at UFC 253 last Saturday, defeating Paulo Costa via dominant second-round TKO. While the victory was very impressive, many fans began to speculate about the reason for his visibly swollen right pectoral muscle, with some even suggesting it could be a cause of performance-enhancing drug abuse.

Former UFC champion Eddie Alvarez doesn’t believe Justin Gaethje has the style necessary to beat Khabib Nurmagomedov. Alvarez, who is now with ONE Championship, faced off against Gaethje back in December 2017 and secured a knockout win against “The Highlight”. Gaethje has gone on to string four impressive KO and TKO wins together after another defeat against Dustin Poirier, with his victory over Tony Ferguson in May handing him the UFC Interim Lightweight Championship.

Former UFC light heavyweight title challenger Anthony Johnson is not impressed with recent middleweight title challenger Paulo Costa. Costa (13-1 MMA) put his undefeated mixed martial arts record on the line while hoping to dethrone middleweight champion Israel Adesanya (20-0 MMA) at last weekend’s UFC 253 pay-per-view event on Fight Island.

One has to assume that Jorge Masvidal tuned in to watch his former friend Colby Covington take on his current training partner Tyron Woodley. Woodley (19-6-1 MMA) had entered the September 19 grudge match with Covington looking to rebound from a two-fight losing streak. In his most previous efforts, ‘The Chosen One’ had suffered unanimous decision losses to Kamaru Usman and Gilbert Burns respectively.

UFC light heavyweight Johnny Walker and welterweight Michel Pereira engaged in an unorthodox “sparring session” on Wednesday. Walker is known for his stunning, highlight-reel KOs, and Pereira is known for his flashy knockouts and trademark backflips, so you just knew that if these two ever trained together that it would be entertaining to watch, and that happens to be the case. In a new video that went viral on social media, Walker and Pereira can be seen engaging in an entertaining “sparring session” that can be only described as unorthodox. Here’s the video.

UFC featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski called a trilogy fight with Max Holloway “ridiculous” and suggested That ‘Blessed’ fight Calvin Kattar. Volkanovski and Holloway first met at UFC 245 last December. Volkanovski pulled off the upset that night, outstriking Holloway and winning a unanimous decision. However, the UFC granted Holloway, the long-time featherweight champ, an immediate rematch. The two then met a second time at UFC 251 on Fight Island earlier this summer. In one of the most controversial decisions of the year, Volkanovski edged out a split decision win.

Chris Weidman is confident he has what it takes to beat Israel Adesanya. Adesanya is 20-0 and coming off the second title defense of his middleweight title at UFC 253 where he scored a second-round TKO over Paulo Costa. Although he has only defended the belt twice, he has fought most of the divisions best except for the likes of Jared Cannonier and Jack Hermansson. For former middleweight champion, Chris Weidman, he believes he is the one to hand Adesanya his first loss.

Before William Knight even fought on the Contender Series he told the UFC he wanted his debut to be against Aleksa Camur. The two were supposed to fight on the regional scenes but finally fought one another at UFC 253. Knight had a successful stint on the Contender Series and made a quick turnaround to fight Camur.

UFC legend Jon Jones continued to take aim at Israel Adesanya, calling the middleweight champ a “straight b*tch” in his latest Twitter rant. It’s clear that there is no love lost between Jones and Adesanya. The two have taken numerous shots at each other on social media and in interviews for the past year or so, but things seemed to have hit a boiling point recently. Jones recently unloaded on Adesanya in an Instagram post, and on Wednesday, he continued to pile on to Adesanya.

UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz says he is open to a superfight against UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya. Blachowicz won the vacant 205lbs title when he knocked out rival Dominick Reyes in the co-main event of this past weekend’s UFC 253 card. In the main event, Adesanya defended his middleweight crown with a second-round TKO win over Paulo Costa. With both fighters competing on the same night and with both having terrific performances, the question that naturally is on a lot of people’s minds is whether Blachowicz could one day fight Adesanya.
