Jose Aldo fires back at Max Holloway: '‘f--k Holloway who won eight in a row'
Russell Ess - October 14, 2016
Current UFC interim featherweight champion Jose Aldo is not happy with the way things are going in the UFC. The former UFC featherweight king who once stood far above the pack is still saying that he wants to be released from his UFC contract so that he can pursue new endeavors. What sparked the outburst and intent on leaving the UFC was when it was announced that UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor would be taking on the lightweight champion, Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 for the lightweight title. Aldo, of course, wanted the fight with McGregor for his shot at revenge after losing to his rival at UFC 194. At the very least, Aldo wanted McGregor stripped of the featherweight title with the bout against Alvarez being his third fight outside of the featherweight division with no title defenses made since snatching the belt from him in December of 2015.
Dana White Says "Probably Not" to Second CM Punk Fight
Tom Taylor - October 14, 2016
Earlier this year, on the main card of UFC 203, WWE star CM Punk made his long-awaited debut in the UFC’s Octagon. He made this debut against dangerous 24-year-old prospect Mickey Gall. Given that he began his journey to the UFC with precisely zero real martial arts experience, this was not especially surprising.
