Anderson was able to derail the Johnny Walker hype train at UFC 244 in phenomenal fashion, finishing the eccentric Brazilian via TKO in the first round. The Ultimate Fighter winner’s antics after the fight received quite a lot of attention, as did some of his comments regarding his desire to receive a UFC Light Heavyweight Championship title shot.

Dana White says that Alexander Gustafsson plans on coming out of retirement to fight again. The Swedish fighter last fought in June when he was defeated by Anthony Smith via fourth-round submission. Prior to that, “The Mauler” was TKO’d by light heavyweight champion Jon Jones in the third round.

Walker headlined the prelims at UFC 244 in a fight that many were tipping to be his big moment in the spotlight. In the end, though, it turned out to be anything but as Anderson was able to run through him with ease in a first round TKO victory.

It marked his first win since defeating Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson at UFC Liverpool last year, which gives you a pretty good idea of just how important this triumph was for “The Gorilla”.

Former title challenger Yoel Romero is claiming that current UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya has backed out of a fight against him. Romero and Adesanya have been rumored to fight for the last week since news broke that No. 1 contender Paulo Costa had to have surgery on his biceps and will be out until the middle of next year. UFC president Dana White suggested that Romero could instead get the title shot against Adesanya, and fans seem to be intrigued by the fight.

Many fans have been calling for him to get another title shot, with his last attempt at winning the UFC Heavyweight Championship ending in defeat when he lost to Stipe Miocic at UFC 220 in January 2018.

With a plethora of combat experience, the former ACB featherweight champion, Madomedsharipov is one of the most respected fighters in the featherweight division.

Speaking to Damon Martin of MMAFighting.com, Adesanya laid out his plans for the next two years of his fighting career. Though Adesanya and Jones have been talking smack to each other all over social media ever since Adesanya defeated Robert Whittaker to win the middleweight strap at UFC 243, Adesanya does not want to deviate from his plan.

Former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub doesn’t believe Nate Diaz would’ve pulled off a comeback over Jorge Masvidal. Diaz and Masvidal shared the Octagon this past Saturday night in the main event of UFC 244. The two competed for the one-time-only BMF championship. The bout didn’t end the way most had hoped. The Octagon-side doctor called a halt to the contest before the fourth round could begin due to cuts formed on Diaz’s eyebrow and under his eye. Masvidal was declared the winner.

UFC middleweight contender Darren Till says a fight against UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya is “meant to happen.” Fresh off of a split decision victory over Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 244, Till is now ranked in the top-five of the UFC middleweight division. Adesanya seems likely to fight Yoel Romero next, leaving Till with a matchup against a top contender like Jared Cannonier or Robert Whittaker. With one more big win, Till could get a title shot against Adesanya.
