Back in January at UFC 246, Donald Cerrone fell short in his fight against Conor McGregor, suffering a 40-second loss to “The Notorious” in one of the biggest prize-fights of his career. Cerrone is slated to make his return on May 9 against former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, a rematch from their first fight back in 2013, where Cerrone came up short, suffering a first-round loss.

UFC bantamweight Duda Santana has been forced to rely on the kindness of her UFC roster-mates to survive the coronavirus pandemic. Santana, who lives with her mother, six siblings, and daughter in the Cidade de Deus (City of God) favela in Rio de Janeiro, recently told Brazilian publication Combate that she has been struggling to keep food on the table during the pandemic, as neither she nor her family members have been able to work.

The Las Vegas-based promotion is plotting three events in an eight-day span, all of which will go down in Jacksonville, Florida. This three-card bonanza will start with UFC 249 on Saturday, May 9. Next up will be a currently unnamed card on Wednesday, May 13, followed my another unnamed card on Saturday, May 16.
