More bouts have been added to the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. undercard, including an appearance from former UFC heavyweight Rashad Coulter. Coulter, who went 1-3 in the UFC between 2017 and 2018, will take on England’s Viddal Riley on the Tyson vs. Jones undercard. Coulter has one pro boxing bout on his resume, having picked up a first-round knockout of Armando Herrera Jr. in 2015. He and Viddal, who is 4-0 and represented by Mayweather Promotions, will meet at 210 pounds.

UFC light heavyweight Ion Cutelaba tested positive for COVID-19 and is out of his rematch at UFC 252 against Magomed Ankalaev. MMAFighting.com confirmed Igor Lazorin‘s report that Cutelaba tested positive for COVID-19. As a result of the positive test, he is forced to withdraw from his fight this Saturday against Ankalaev. According to Cutelaba’s manager, he tested positive on Sunday and is now in quarantine.

While Nurmagomedov recently suffered an immense loss when his father passed away due to COVID-19 complications, Cormier believes the lightweight champion will use this tragedy as motivation as he prepares to take on Gaethje.

An anticipated middleweight clash between Yoel Romero (13-5 MMA, 9-4 UFC) and Uriah Hall (15-9 MMA, 8-7 UFC) will not happen as planned, multiple sources with knowledge of the situation told BJPENN.com. The sources asked for anonymity since the news hasn’t been officially confirmed yet. The two 185-pound fighters were expected to lock horns on August 22 in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the UFC APEX facility. They were slated to co-headline the event.

Dos Santos has been showing off his physique in a few recent posts to Instagram, and while he remains a betting underdog against Rozenstruik, it’s clear that he’s well prepared for the challenge at hand.

The full betting odds have been released for all 11 fights scheduled to take place at this Saturday’s UFC 252: Miocic vs. Cormier 3 pay-per-view event. In the main event, the UFC heavyweight title is on the line when Stipe Miocic takes on Daniel Cormier in a highly-anticipated trilogy match. These two legends have met each of the past two summers, with Cormier winning the first fight by first-round KO and Miocic taking the second fight with a fourth-round TKO. The winner of this fight will, in the words of UFC president Dana White, be the undisputed GOAT of the UFC heavyweight division.

UFC middleweight contender Edmen Shahbazyan has reportedly been disciplined for displaying the flag of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic in his recent loss to Derek Brunson. The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic is a region that is internationally recognized as part of Azerbaijan, but is predominantly populated by Armenians, many of whom feel it belongs to Armenia. The contested region was the subject of a short war in 1920, another violent conflict in the early 90s, and has been the site of several bloody skirmishes as recently as this year. Suffice it to say that is remains the source of much turmoil, with both countries claiming ownership of it.
