It all started after photos surfaced of Woodley hanging out with Jorge Masvidal. ‘Gamebred’ had infamously knocked out T-Wood’s longtime friend and training partner Ben Askren earlier this month at UFC 239.

The former welterweight champion is good friends and training partners with Ben Askren, who “Gamebred” knocked out at UFC 239. It was a vicious knee that resulted in “Funky” being out cold for quite a while. There was also an intense lead up to the fight where Masvidal said he wanted to end the Askren bloodline. Jorge also that he planned on breaking Ben’s face.

Despite the fact that he would be surrendering roughly 30 pounds of weight to Jones, and quite a bit of height and length, Danis is confident confident he could earn the tap if he attacked the UFC champ’s legs.

Unfortunately, after Nurmagomedov submitted McGregor, he jumped out of the Octagon and attacked Dillon Danis. Nobody knew exactly why, although Nurmagomedov’s team said it was because Danis was making racist comments. However, Danis has vehemently denied those claims.

First, we saw former ONE and Bellator champ Ben Askren make a successful — if controversial — UFC debut by submitting former UFC champ Robbie Lawler. Then, we saw Kamaru Usman shock the world by dominating long-time UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman to a lopsided unanimous decision triumph. While Ben Askren and Kamaru Usman impressed many onlookers with their UFC 235 performances, notoriously outspoken Bellator star Dillon Danis didn’t seem to like what he saw. In fact, he believes he’d defeat both fighters based on their performances in Vegas.
