Dana White won’t enforce any COVID-19 vaccine mandates in the UFC anytime soon. As the global pandemic gets closer to departing our lives, the UFC has done its best to return to normality — as evidenced by the return of fan-filled arena events. But with the coronavirus not yet 100 percent out of our lives, certain locations and businesses have begun requiring vaccination.

Gilbert Burns took some unnecessary damage ahead of his UFC 264 clash with Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson. The former welterweight title challenger managed to rebound off his lone career defeat north of 155-pounds, but he had a scare beforehand. Burns shared in a recent interview with MMA Junkie how he managed to shake off taking a golf club straight to the dome.
Stipe Miocic has accepted a fight against Jon Jones, reveals Dana White

Stipe Miocic has been offered and accepted a fight against Jon Jones, UFC president, Dana White revealed. Ever since Jones vacated his light heavyweight title the plan was for him to fight at heavyweight. However, “Bones” has yet to make the move but according to White, they have offered him Miocic, and the former heavyweight champ has already accepted it. But, they are waiting on Jones to see what he wants to do.

Jose Aldo has no ill will towards Conor McGregor and is hopeful that his former foe can make a full recovery from the leg break he suffered at UFC 264. Aldo (29-7 MMA), the promotions former featherweight kingpin, will return to the Octagon in this Saturday’s UFC 265 co-main event for a bantamweight bout with Pedro Munhoz.

Luke Rockhold was not happy with the “stupid” matchmaking tactics used by Dana White for his upcoming fight with Sean Strickland at UFC 268. Earlier this week the UFC President told reporters that he had offered Rockhold a fight with recent main event winner Sean Strickland. However, according to the former UFC middleweight champion no formal offer was ever made and White’s remarks were just a negotiation tactic.
Michael Chandler says he "won't be able to perform" against Justin Gaethje at UFC 268: "I won’t be vaccinated by Nov. 6"

It appears that Michael Chandler vs. Justin Gaethje will require a new date and venue following the newly introduced mandates in the state of New York. Chandler and Gaethje recently agreed to a highly anticipated lightweight showdown at UFC 268, which is set to take place on November 6 at Madison Square Garden.
Chad Mendes ends retirement, signs multi-fight deal with BKFC

Chad Mendes has ended his retirement. The former UFC title challenger retired after his loss to Alex Volkanovski at UFC 232 in December of 2018. Since then, Mendes has remained in the gym but there were no talks of a possible comeback. However, over the past couple of months, he has teased a return to the sport saying the itch is back.

Luke Rockhold will make his UFC return in November. For months now, Rockhold has hinted at a possible return to the Octagon but he claimed all the top middleweights were turning him down. On Tuesday, however, it was revealed the UFC offered him a fight against Sean Strickland.
Colby Covington plans to fight Israel Adesanya to become champ-champ after UFC 268

Colby Covington is set to rematch Kamaru Usman at UFC 268 but he already has plans after that. Covington is the former UFC interim welterweight champion but came up short in his bid for the undisputed champion at UFC 245. He lost by fifth-round TKO to Usman but he has a ton of confidence ahead of the rematch.
Alonzo Menifield eyes KO win over Ed Herman at UFC 265: "I'm honored to go in there and fight with him and take him out"

Alonzo Menifield is excited to be getting the chance to fight Ed Herman and in front of a crowd. Menifield returned to the win column last time out with a submission win over Fabio Cherant. The victory snapped his two-fight losing skid and now, he gets a chance to fight Herman at UFC 265 in his home state of Texas which he’s ecstatic about.
Miranda Maverick on Maycee Barber fight judges: 'I don't know what they were watching'

Maycee Barber got back in the win column in her last time out against Miranda Maverick — but not without some controversy. UFC Vegas 32 saw the pair of ranked UFC flyweights do battle in what ended up going to the judges. As a result, Barber received the split decision victory over Maverick.
Nicco Montano cut from UFC after recent UFC Vegas 33 weight miss

Nicco Montano’s time with the UFC has come to an abrupt end. MMA Fighting revealed on Tuesday that Montano has been cut from the promotion. This coming hours after UFC President Dana White shared his thoughts on Montano’s recent weight troubles that saw yet another one of her bouts canceled.
