AUDIO | Georges St-Pierre Praises Ben Askren But says "It's not a fight that will interest me now because nobody knows who he is"
Drake Riggs - March 5, 2018
“Ben Askren, I don’t understand why he’s not in the UFC. He’s one of the best in the world and I think it has to do with maybe a problem he has with Dana White, you know but he’s one of the best fighters in the world. If there is a guy that in my career, for my legacy that would have been good to fight, it’d be Ben Askren because he beat everybody. All the guys at Bellator, he beat all the champions outside the UFC but unfortunately, I think he has a fallout with Dana and he never had a chance to fight in the UFC and therefore is stuck. Never went to the value that he’s supposed to be at.

Valentina Shevchenko calls for flyweight title shot at UFC 225
Tom Taylor - March 5, 2018
Back in early February, former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Valentina Shevchenko made her anticipated debut in the new women’s flyweight division opposite Brazil’s Priscila Cachoeira. Shevchenko’s flyweight debut would go down as one of the most brutal beatdowns we’ve ever seen in the Octagon, as she absolutely mauled her outmatched foe to a second-round submission win. With this destructive win, Shevchenko erased any lingering doubt that she is the next woman in line for inaugural UFC flyweight champion Nicco Montano. The dangerous Kyrgyzstani fighter has absolutely earned her shot, the only question is when that shot occurs.

Don't let the UFC's Hollywood blockbuster promos fool you - there's nothing glamorous about stepping into a cage
Christine Allen - March 4, 2018
Let me begin this article by stating that had it not been for the UFC Official pre-fight trailers and docu style episodes of UFC Embedded, it is unlikely that I would have become so invested in not only the UFC, but in turn, mixed martial arts. It seems inconceivable to me now, but before October 2016, I had never watched an MMA fight. Ronda Rousey was a name that while familiar, held no real meaning for me, and to the best of my knowledge, Dana White was a woman.

He was disqualified for this perceived foul, which in turn meant a bizarre and surely undesirable DQ win for Dollaway.

While Yana Kunitskaya deserves props for taking a fight with the monstrous Cyborg on short notice – and for landing a takedown early in the fight – this fight went as expected. After returning to her feet, Cyborg began to stalk her opponent like a hungry carnivore. From there, it was just a matter of time. The champ was feasting on her latest kill before the first round was over.

Last night, on the main card of UFC 222, red-hot bantamweight prospect Sean O’Malley took his latest steps into the Octagon, this time facing the dangerous Andre Soukhamthath. Despite having his leg pulverized in the final frame – at which point a Soukhamthath win looked like it was only a kick away – O’Malley ultimately came out on top, as he awarded a decision win for his performance in the first and second rounds. Unfortunately, however, O’Malley’s leg was so damaged that he couldn’t even stand for his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan.
