Tom Taylor - January 3, 2018
UFC President Dana White certainly catches his fair share of criticism. Whether it’s for his profanity-laced diatribes, his ruthless approach to business, or the way he treats his fighter, it seems he’s always under fire for something. Somewhere underneath White’s prickly exterior, however, is a heart of gold, and every now and then, that heart reveals itself. Perhaps the best example of this occured in 2010, when White opened his wallet and paid for the emergency liver-transplant of a seven-month-old baby girl in Thailand.
Dana White opens up on one fight Conor McGregor wants 'really bad'
Russell Sai - January 2, 2018
Conor McGregor was described as “obsessed” after he lost to Nate Diaz at UFC 196. Coach John Kavanagh even mentioned that the loss to Diaz stung much worse for the current UFC lightweight champion than the Mayweather loss did. However, according to Dana White, the loss to Mayweather seems to be growing on “The Notorious.” “Conor wants that fight again really bad,” White said recently on FS1 (transcribed by Damon Martin for MMA Weekly). “I told Conor what you did was amazing. I was sitting there with my partner Lorenzo [Fertitta] and I kept saying, ‘Oh my god, we found this kid in Ireland four years ago. He’s going into the sixth round with Floyd Mayweather. He’s going into the seventh round with Floyd Mayweather.’
VIDEO | Floyd Mayweather Accuses Dana White of Using His Name to Make TV Deal
Justin Golightly - December 30, 2017
From transitioning into a MMA by fighting, to being brought on to help with ZRUFFA Boxing, there has been ton of rumors flying around about Floyd Mayweather joining forces with the UFC. These rumors didn’t get born on some forums or on Twitter, this info came straight from Dana White’s mouth. It’s info that Mayweather wants stopped. He’s come out against it once, now he’s flat-out accusing White of just bringing up his name to leverage a better TV deal now that their time at FOX is ending. “Their deal with Fox is coming to an end. So, they’re trying to renew a new deal with any company what better name could they use than Floyd Mayweather? Because that’s a great name to use. I would use a Floyd Mayweather so I could leverage also and say, ‘You know what? Floyd’s gonna come back, he’s going to fight in the UFC. Floyd’s gonna come back and he’s gonna fight McGregor in the Octagon.’ So they can leverage and get another big deal. I don’t have anything against Dana White. At all. He’s a remarkable guy, a very, very smart guy. Smart business man. I don’t need to fight again. If I chose to fight in the Octagon, I’m choosing to fight in the Octagon because that’s what I want to do.”
Cyborg Squashes Beef with Dana White Ahead of UFC 219
Justin Golightly - December 29, 2017
The New Year is approaching and it is the time for resolutions. Whether they be public or something that you promise yourself, opening up a new calendar is always an excuse to change something about your life. To say that Cris Cyborg has had a roller coaster relationship with the UFC, would be an understatement. However, she’s determined to move into 2018 by putting the past behind her. That includes her grievances with the organization and Dana White himself. “The result of this [good relationship] is persistence, not giving up even in the face of adversity. Everything changed, I’m very happy that they put me in the main event. It shows to my fans that even when it’s difficult, we have to be persistent. [The treatment] It’s getting better, it’s getting better. From the moment that he admitted to having made mistakes, from that moment on, I dropped the negative emotions that I had. Now, let’s work together.”

Russell Ess - December 20, 2017
There was a time not long ago that talk of Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor fighting in a boxing match was laughed at by many. Even UFC President Dana White once stated that the fight would never happen. Well, it happened and people tuned in to watch. The world was shocked to hear Joe Rogan say that White told him via text message that Mayweather was serious about fighting in the UFC and that they had been in talks. White then confirmed it himself to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto that he and Mayweather have been talking about doing a UFC deal.

Russell Ess - December 19, 2017
For those that believed that undefeated and retired boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather was just running his mouth about fighting in the UFC, it seems to be a bit more serious than many might have believed. UFC commentator Joe Rogan was speaking with Eddie Bravo recently on his podcast and revealed that he asked Dana White about the rumors of Mayweather talking about a multi-fight billion dollar deal with the UFC. Interestingly, the UFC President told Rogan that they have been talking and Mayweather does have interest in fighting in the Octagon.
Ben Askren trashes "very insecure" UFC President Dana White
Tom Taylor - December 19, 2017
It’s no secret that Ben Askren – long regarded as one of the best fighters outside the UFC – is not a fan of UFC President Dana White. Speaking on a recent episode of Submission Radio, Askren reiterated his feelings on White, and he pulled no punches. “Dana White’s a scumbag, I don’t take anything he says with any value,” Askren said (h/t BloodyElbow). “He’s very, very insecure and he abhors anyone who won’t cater to his every whim.”
Dana White Shuts Down Rumors of Conor McGregor's Next Fight Not Being in the UFC
Justin Golightly - December 15, 2017
Conor McGregor can fight anyone right now, absolutely anyone he wants. That’s good and bad for the UFC. After making more money than his entire UFC career combined in one boxing match, everyone knew it was going to be difficult to get him back to the Octagon. The latest opponent for McGregor that has popped up is none other than Manny Pacquiao, who claimed he was in negotiations to box the Irishman in April. Dana White was quick to shut that down, citing it would result in a lawsuit, but went further last night on social media to put the final nail in the coffin. He’s not Boxing anyone so calm down cry babies.

Last Saturday night, in the main event of the UFC’s debut in Fresno, California, surging featherweight contender Brian Ortega picked up the biggest win of his career, tapping long-time contender Cub Swanson in the second round. With this win, Ortega immediately stands out as one of the top contenders in the featherweight division – perhaps even the next man in line for the champ Max Holloway. Post-fight, UFC President Dana White sang Ortega’s praises, hailing him as the next big thing at featherweight.

Despite sending Overeem to the canvas in a state of unconsciousness, Ngannou was not awarded with a “Performance of the Night” bonus. White announced two “Fight of the Night” bonuses that went to the amazing fights featuring Eddie Alvarez vs. Justin Gaethje and Yancy Medeiros vs. Alex Oliveira.
BREAKING | Nate Diaz Blasts Dana For Saying Woodley Fight Wasn't Offered
Justin Golightly - November 30, 2017
The UFC 219 superfight plot thickens. We all know the story by now. Nate Diaz started training for a fight, rumors swirled out of control, talks revealed that the UFC were in negotiations with Diaz to fight UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. Suddenly, things went quiet until Woodley started calling out the younger Diaz brother in the media every where he could. It finally died and Woodley claimed Diaz priced himself out of the fight on purpose. Eventually Dana White attempted to put the final nail in the coffin and said that the fight wasn’t ever even offered. Woodley has already disputed that statement, but in this latest video, Nate Diaz seems to say the same thing. …Well, in his own words. Shutup bitch. Your both thirsty ….
VIDEO | Dana White: Georges St-Pierre Left With 'Nothing But Animals' For Opponents
Justin Golightly - November 29, 2017
It seems the UFC has sort of backed themselves into a corner. Robert Whittaker fought the guy no one wanted to and beat Yoel Romero fair and square to win the interim UFC middleweight title. Instead of pairing Michael Bisping up with Whittaker to unify, the UFC opted to have Georges St-Pierre swoop down in an illustrious return and he ended up taking that title at UFC 217 in dramatic fashion. However, now St-Pierre’s plans are up in the air and Dana White is absolutely not having it. “[Georges St-Pierre] looked at [Michael] Bisping like he was a tune-up [fight]. You got your tune-up, there’s nothing but f-king animals at 185 and 170. Luke Rockhold is massive, he’s massive when he cuts weight. There’s no good options. To sit there and try to handpick people, or where you want to go and everything else, you can’t in this f-king sport. They’re all nasty. You’re a fighter, get in there and see who you can f-king beat. You wanted to f-king come back, welcome back. I don’t even know if Perth [UFC 221 against Robert Whittaker] is what I want for him yet, so we’re gonna’ talk today and figure it out. I don’t wanna’ hear [about St-Pierre dropping back down to welterweight]. That’s not what I wanna’ hear. I wanna’ hear he’s gonna’ defend the 185-pound title. That’s the agreement we made. That’s the deal we made when we made the deal.” — Dana White during his recent media scrum.
Dana White makes some comparisons between Conor McGregor and Jon Jones after another 'Notorious' rumored incident
Russell Ess - November 28, 2017
According to Dana White, there were plans for Conor McGregor to fight on the last pay-per-view card of the year at UFC 219. However, McGregor’s incident in the Bellator cage that brought a lot of attention to the UFC’s main competitor had him nixed from the event for shoving the referee and slapping a Bellator staff member. Now, rumors are swirling around that “The Notorious” punched a man in a bar in Crumlin, Ireland. Reports have been circulating in Irish media that the man McGregor hit has ties to the mob in Ireland.
Dana White will be 'Super Pissed' if GSP Doesn't Defend Title
Adam Conklin - November 28, 2017
There’s no shortage of contenders in the UFC’s middleweight division. Former champions Luke Rockhold and Chris Weidman are still considered to be at the top of the heap while dangerous contenders such as Kelvin Gastelum and Yoel Romero wait for a signature win to earn the chance to fight for the belt.
Dana White rips Tony Ferguson regarding his demands for Conor McGregor to defend or vacate title
Russell Ess - November 28, 2017
There is no mystery on who UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson wants to fight next in the Octagon. Following his interim title win over Kevin Lee at UFC 216 back in October, “El Cucuy” lashed out at UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor in his post-fight Octagon speech. “Where you at McNuggets, ya f**king piece of s**t,” Ferguson screamed into the mic while being interviewed by Joe Rogan. “I’m gonna kick your ass. You better come and f**king defend that belt. Defend or vacate, motherf**ker!”
Dana White Has Been Offering Nate Diaz Fights for a 'Year and a Half'
Justin Golightly - November 28, 2017
We all knew it would be hard to get Nate Diaz back in the Octagon after back-to-back gigantic fights with Conor McGregor, but we had no idea it would be this difficult. Initially, we all thought he’d just be waiting until McGregor came back from his multi-million boxing bout, but that lag time just kept growing larger and larger until nothing. The MMA community’s ears peaked up when there was word of a bonkers fight between Tyron Woodley and Diaz to beef up UFC 219, but that has since been squashed. In a recent interview with Dana White, he not only says that the fight was never offered to begin with, but that Diaz has turned down every single fight he’s been offered for a year and a half. “Nate Diaz has turned down a fight with everyone on the roster. We’ve been offering him fights for a year and a half.” -Dana on Nate
