Dana White has said the upcoming BMF title fight between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz will be a one-time thing, but there are some who believe making this belt a one-off will be a missed opportunity. Anthony Smith is one of those people. Smith is on board with the BMF belt, saying that there could be fans who become just a fan of that title, and will call for more fights to happen around that title. During an appearance on MMA Tonight on Sirius XM, Smith told host Ryan McKinnell that it would be a “huge miss” if the UFC only made it a one-time thing.

Unfortunately for Jedrzejczyk, this victory did little to elevate her station in the official UFC rankings. In the latest rankings update, the Polish star climbed just one spot in the strawweight division.

UFC featherweight contender Yair Rodriguez has responded to a controversial remark from his opponent this Friday night Jeremy Stephens. Stephens, who hasn’t won inside the Octagon since back in February 2018, recently told reporters that “I’m gonna kill this kid. If he don’t die, it don’t count” in reference to his rematch this Friday night against Yair Rodriguez at UFC Boston. The two men squared off at UFC Mexico City less than a month ago, but an accidental eye poke led to the bout being declared a no contest after just 15 seconds.

Cub Swanson picked up the win he sought at UFC Tampa last weekend, defeating Kron Gracie by unanimous decision, but it came at a cost. The long-time featherweight contender sustained a broken hand and injured eye in the fight, and will not be able to compete again until it’s healed and he’s given the all-clear by a doctor.

Maycee Barber will return to the Octagon at UFC Boston on Friday looking to stay undefeated. She is currently 7-0 and just 21-years-old and has been vocal about breaking Jon Jones’ record of being the UFC’s youngest champion. On Friday, she can take another step forward if she beats Gillian Robertson. Although she is not ranked in the top-10 at flyweight, the 21-year-old believes she would beat current division titleholder, Valentina Shevchenko, right now.

He questions why the manager has yet to be deported and plans on talking to President, Donald Trump about it. He also says there is a pending sexual assault charge against the Dominance MMA CEO that no one knows about.

Khabib Nurmagomedov shows fans why he is the undefeated lightweight champion. In an Instagram video, the Dagestani fighter is seen swimming in a hazardous river against the current. The 31-year old goes to great lengths to prepare for his fights. Since he was a child, Nurmagomedov would swim in Russian rivers and go running up the mountains. He trained under the guidance of his father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov. His father even built a gym for Nurmagomedov and other youngsters to train out of.

Greg Hardy is set for his fourth UFC fight and fourth bout of 2019 at UFC Boston. There, the former NFL star will be taking on promotional newcomer, Ben Sosoli. Although it is not a ranked opponent like Greg Hardy has wanted, he knows that time will come. For now, he is focusing on paying his dues and fighting the ‘middle class’ of the UFC like every other person before getting to the top. But, when he gets to the top, he expects to knock those top ranked opponents out.
