Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has previewed this Saturday’s epic main event between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal in his own special way. Following a series of rumors and hints over the course of the last few weeks, it was finally confirmed recently that The Great One will be wrapping the BMF Championship belt around the waist of whoever wins between Diaz and Masvidal this weekend.

UFC 444 headliner Jorge Masvidal has revealed how he felt in the hours prior to knowing what the fate of Nate Diaz’s status on the card would be. This Saturday’s main event at Madison Square Garden is easily one of the most anticipated fights of the year, as Masvidal and Diaz meet for the BMF Championship. Both men have been able to will this bout into existence, and with less than 48 hours remaining until fight night, it’s clear to see that the excitement levels amongst MMA fans are at an all-time high.
Conor McGregor appears in court over assault allegations

Conor McGregor is due to appear in court this morning in connection to an alleged altercation with a man in an Irish pub. The former two-division champion is facing a single assault charge. He is accused of assaulting Desmond Keogh at the Marble Arch pub in Drimnagh on April 6th when McGregor was promoting his whiskey brand, Proper No. Twelve.
Jon Jones and Ali Abdelaziz each donate $25,000 reward for information on Walt Harris' daughter

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and MMA agent Ali Abdelaziz have donated a $25,000 reward each to find the missing daughter of Walt Harris. 19-year-old Aniah Blanchard is the daughter of Harris and she disappeared last week in Auburn, Alabama. Auburn and Montgomery police have been searching diligently to find her, but she has not been found. On Thursday, Auburn police revealed they found evidence in Blanchard’s vehicle that indicates she was potentially harmed.

In fact, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov called the Irishman a ‘showman’ and never considered him a tough opponent. Khabib Nurmagomedov fought his longstanding rival in October 2018 at one of the most highly anticipated events in UFC history. In the main event of UFC 229, the Russian native put his grappling skillset on full display and submitted the Irish warrior in the fourth round.

UFC president Dana White revealed on Wednesday that the UFC is currently in negotiations for McGregor’s comeback fight to be against Donald Cerrone and not Gaethje. Considering Gaethje just knocked Cerrone out at UFC Vancouver in September, it’s no surprise “The Highlight” is upset he’s not the one getting the fight with McGregor instead.
