Joe Rogan has praised UFC lightweight contender Tony Ferguson ahead of his UFC 249 title fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov. UFC 249 is set to feature one of the most highly anticipated fights in the history of mixed martial arts when Khabib Nurmagomedov defends his UFC Lightweight Championship against Tony Ferguson. This is the fifth time that the two men have been scheduled to fight with the bout being canceled four times in the past for a variety of reasons.

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and UFC women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko posed together with their belts ahead of UFC 247. Both Jones and Shevchenko are set to defend their titles against challengers Dominick Reyes and Katlyn Chookagian, respectively, at UFC 247 this Saturday night at Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Prior to the fight, the two champions took the time to pose for a very cool photo of them both showing off their gold belts.

In the main event of UFC 246, “Cowboy” was getting the fight he had been asking for against McGregor. But, it didn’t go his way. Instead, he was knocked out in 40 seconds after a barrage of strikes. When he got up after the ref called off the fight his face was bloody and he had a swollen eye.

A day before the super bowl at the Radio Row media event, the ‘BMF’ winner ran into the welterweight champion. The pair began a war of words and bystanders were forced to intervene to stop the conflict from escalating any further. Kamaru Usman goaded Masvidal to “do something,” but Gamebred accused him of being a “clout chaser.”

An exciting featherweight bout between Jeremy Stephens and Calvin Kattar has been moved to the upcoming UFC 249 card in Brooklyn. Stephens vs. Kattar was originally slated for UFC 248 in March, the pay-per-view headlined by UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya vs. Yoel Romero, but it has now been moved to UFC 249, the April pay-per-view headlined by UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson. Along with the women’s strawweight rematch between former champs Rose Namajunas and Jessica Andrade, the UFC 249 card is starting to look really strong.

The card takes place on March 28 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
