The Octagon returns to Nevada for tonight’s UFC Vegas 47 event, a thirteen-bout fight card headlined by Jack Hermansson vs. Sean Strickland. Hermansson (22-6 MMA) most recently competed back in May, where he earned a unanimous decision victory over highly touted prospect Edmen Shahbazyan. That win was preceded by a loss to Marvin Vettori in December of 2020.

Sean Strickland (24-3 MMA) is scheduled to fight Jack Hermansson (22-6 MMA) this Saturday, February 5th at the UFC Vegas 47 main event.

Jack Hermansson thinks it’s about time for him to receive a title shot. ‘The Joker’ is currently set to face Sean Strickland at UFC Vegas 47 this weekend. The No.6-ranked middleweight is only 2-2 in his last four bouts. However, he believes that if he scores a win over ‘Tarzan’ he very well may receive a title shot next.

Despite that skid, he remains undeterred by any fighter on the roster. ‘Smiling Sam’ is scheduled to fight Brendan Allen this weekend at UFC Vegas 47 at 205 pounds. However, that was far from the plan to start with. Alvey was originally scheduled to fight Ian Heinisch at middleweight at the event.

Yes, ‘Tarzan’ seems to ‘fantasize’ about murder be it in or out of the cage.
