Tonight’s UFC Mexico City event was co-headlined by a featherweight rematch between Yair Rodriguez and Brian Ortega. Rodriguez (19-5 MMA) had entered the bout looking to rebound, this after suffering a TKO loss to Alex Volkanovski in his most previous effort in July of last year. Prior to that setback, ‘El Pantera’ was coming off back-to-back stoppage wins over Josh Emmett and Brian Ortega respectively.
