Miesha Tate on Conor McGregor: 'This is exactly how he needs to handle his comeback'

Mike Pendleton - January 16, 2020

A different sounding version of Conor McGregor has appeared in the lead-up to his fight against Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone at UFC 246, and that version was on full display during Wednesday’s pre-fight press conference. McGregor did not come into the press conference with a ton of trash talk or animosity towards Cerrone, instead he chose to pay respect to his upcoming opponent and credit him for becoming a family man and his activity inside the Octagon. Miesha Tate says Cris Cyborg was 'humanized' during UFC run

Fernando Quiles Jr. - August 12, 2019

Miesha Tate looks back on Cris Cyborg’s UFC run as the time the unstoppable force met her match. Cyborg had long been regarded as the most dominant female in mixed martial arts history. She pummeled Gina Carano back in Aug. 2009 to leave no doubt as to who the Strikeforce queen was. While she never got a chance to face Ronda Rousey, Cyborg’s dominance lasted longer than Rousey’s. This of course includes Cyborg’s battles outside the UFC, as Rousey had a longer title reign within the world’s most recognized MMA promotion.
