Daniel Cormier is down to see Nate Diaz return to the UFC, as long as he’s no longer a headliner. The Stockton slugger has been out of action since a boxing match with Jake Paul last August. In his first appearance in the ring, Nate Diaz suffered a unanimous decision loss to ‘The Problem Child’. While the former UFC fighter was knocked down early, he had moments of success down the stretch of the bout.

It was in March of that year, at UFC 196, where Diaz defeated the Irishman by submission. The following August of that same year, saw McGregor defeat Diaz by majority decision at UFC 202.

UFC commentator Daniel Cormier has revealed that Khabib Nurmagomedov turned down $40 million dollars to fight again. ‘The Eagle’ has been firmly in retirement since a 2020 submission win over Justin Gaethje. Sitting at an undefeated 29-0, Khabib Nurmagomedov announced his retirement following the victory. Largely thanks to the death of his father, the Russian decided that he would never fight in the cage again.
