Former UFC dual-weight champion Conor McGregor needs three more knockout wins to catch Anderson Silva. ‘The Notorious’ is currently expected to return to the octagon at some point in 2024. Having been out of action since his July 2021 trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier, Conor McGregor recently coached The Ultimate Fighter opposite Michael Chandler. As of now, that fight with ‘Iron Mike’ is being expected for April.

Earlier this year, Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler coached against one another on The Ultimate Fighter. However, it took him months to enter the USADA testing pool, postponing his return. Despite the Irishman’s comments about fighting names such as Justin Gaethje, he will seemingly return against the former Bellator champion.

Moreover, the two will headline an ESPN pay-per-view card, in what will be Francis Ngannou’s first boxing match. Although, Tyson Fury is expected to enter as a massive favorite for the contest.

Conor McGregor was paying attention to the UFC 294 headliner between Islam Makhachev and Alex Volkanovski. Volkanovski stepped up on short notice when Charles Oliveira couldn’t make it to the card after suffering a cut during sparring. While the first fight between Makhachev and Volkanovski was highly competitive, the rematch ended quickly. Makhachev scored a head kick that dropped Volkanovski in the first round and finished the fight with some follow-up punches.
