Gall and Perry are set to throw down in the co-main event of the aforementioned card, in a bout that could give us a pretty good indication as to what the trajectory of both men is going to be in the next few years.

Former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub ripped former UFC matchmaker Joe Silva, calling him a “complete prick” and a “Sherdog forum troll.” Schaub had a segment on the latest edition “Below the Belt” podcast focusing on the recent number of negative stories that have popped up on social media related to Silva. Fighters such as Eddie Alvarez, Gray Maynard, and Gerald Harris all had some negative things to say about Silva, and Schaub took the time to share his own experiences with Silva.
UFC rankings update: Cynthia Calvillo, Marvin Vettori make huge climbs

The official UFC rankings have been updated after last weekend’s under-the-radar UFC on ESPN 10 card, and as expected, there have been some big changes. Most notably, former UFC strawweight contender Cynthia Calvillo made a gargantuan climb up the flyweight rankings after defeating the division’s No. 1 contender, Jessica Eye, in the cards main event. She’s now ranked No. 2 in the division, behind former title challenger Katlyn Chookagian.
Dana White drops hint about next UFC outfitting partner

With the UFC’s outfitting deal with Reebok potentially coming to an end, the UFC could sign a deal with a new outfitting company. Dana White has a few ideas in mind. Making an appearance on The Schmozone podcast with The Schmo and Helen Yee, the UFC boss was asked about the deal with Reebok coming to an end and who might possibly be next in line to be the uniform sponsor for the UFC.

In the last few weeks, “Gamebred” has made his position crystal clear in regards to fighter pay. He’s currently locked in an ongoing dispute with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, and in recent days, that beef has extended to other fighters on the roster.

Justin Gaethje has been practicing his wrestling ahead of his fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov and has suffered a nasty cut in the process. Gaethje, who is expected to battle Nurmagomedov in September in a unification of the lightweight title, took to social media to show off his nasty cut. He said he will need a few stitches after catching an accidental headbutt in training.
Dana White doesn't believe Amanda Nunes should retire just yet

Two-weight champion Amanda Nunes is flirting with the idea of retirement, but UFC President Dana White isn’t ready to see his dominant champion walk away just yet. Following her win over Felicia Spencer at UFC 250, Nunes became the first ever fighter to successfully defend both of her titles while holding them simultaneously. After her win over Spencer, Nunes opened up about the possibility of retirement saying, she’s achieved everything that she has wanted to do.
Justin Gaethje says Dan Hooker is "getting merked" by Dustin Poirier

UFC interim lightweight champion Justin Gaethje says that Dan Hooker is “getting merked” by Dustin Poirier when they fight in a few weeks. Gaethje, who is coming off of a fifth-round TKO win over Tony Ferguson at UFC 249 to take home the title, chimed in on a comment that Hooker said recently suggesting that he will finish Poirier. Gaethje knows Poirier well considering he was knocked out by him two years ago, and he didn’t agree with Hooker’s assessment of the upcoming fight.
Yoel Romero vs. Uriah Hall targeted for UFC event in August

Uriah Hall is getting his wish as he will take on Yoel Romero sometime in August. ESPN’s Ariel Helwani was first to report the news that the fight is targeted to happen in August but what date is still to be determined.
