Ahead of the event, Belfort can’t help but think about fighting Bisping for the title if the pair both emerge from Manchester victorious.

He spoke to Fox Sports:

“I bet he’ll be asking for this fight,” Belfort said about Bisping when speaking to FOX Sports. “I think that’s what he wants.

He doesn’t forget me. That guy cannot forget me. I’m in his head.

In addition to a win over Bisping, Belfort also holds a 2-1 record against Dan Henderson. The pair first met under the Pride banner back in 2006, where Henderson picked up a unanimous decision win at Pride 32. It was seven years before the pair met in the cage again. In 2013, the pair stepped into the Octagon in Goiania Brazil in the main event of UFC Fight Night: 32, where Belfort picked up a KO win over Henderson. Just two years later, the pair stepped into the Octagon for a trilogy fight in Sao Paulo, Brazil in the main event of UFC Fight Night: 77. It took just two minutes and 17 seconds for Belfort to finish Henderson as he picked up another KO win over the MMA legend.
