Pros react after Pedro Munhoz knocks out Cody Garbrandt at UFC 235
A key bantamweight tilt featring Pedro Munhoz taking on former division champion Cody Garbrandt kicked off tonight’s UFC 235 main card.
The fight was a back and forth affair as Cody Garbrandt found a home for his jab while Pedro Munhoz was landing some nasty low kicks.
Late in the opening round “No Love” would land a flying knee that appeared to rock Munhoz.
The bantamweight fighters started trading wild shots in the pocket and it seemed either man could hit the deck at any moment.
In the end, it was Munhoz’s chin that held up after the crazy exachnge.
Garbrandt was sent crashing to the canvas with a punch and Munhoz promptly stepped in and finished him off with ground and pound.

Cody Garbrandt has now lost three straight fights, with all three losses coming via knockout.
Prior to being stopped by Munhoz, Garbrandt had suffered back-to-back losses to bitter rival and former training partner TJ Dillashaw.
