Gable Steveson is set to make his UFC debut at the promotion’s annual International Fight Week card this July. That’s reason enough to be excited for the event, but it sounds like the main event is going to be big. Steveson, an Olympic wrestler, has been a shoo-in for a UFC roster spot for years. After a handful of wins on the regional circuit, he finally signed with the promotion last week. His signing was announced on Saturday’s UFC 327 broadcast. During the broadcast, it was also announced that Steveson will debut at the International Fight Week card, officially titled UFC 329 and set for July 11. His opponent was not announced.

Dominick Reyes is standing by his UFC 327 victory over Johnny Walker. Reyes, a two-time title challenger at light heavyweight, met Walker on the event’s main card. Ahead of time, the bout seemed to have a lot of potential for excitement, as both Reyes and Walker are capable of producing very impressive knockouts at their best. However, the fight ended up falling far short of expectations. For three rounds, the two light heavyweight contenders threw almost nothing at each other, leaving fans nodding off in their seats in the process.

As we know, Jiri Prochazka suffered a knockout loss to Carlos Ulberg last weekend in the main event of UFC 327. It seemed as if he had Ulberg on the ropes after an apparent knee injury, but instead, the new light heavyweight champion was able to land a devastating blow that led to him securing the finish.

Since then, though, she has won back to back fights, including a great submission triumph over Loopy Godinez last weekend.

UFC veteran Paulo Costa has said that he feels closer to a championship opportunity at light heavyweight after UFC 327. Last weekend at UFC 327, Paulo Costa picked up arguably the biggest win of his career thus far. He was able to defeat and finish Azamat Murzakanov, and in doing so, many believe he put himself in the conversation for a title shot at light heavyweight, which would appear to be his new home as opposed to middleweight.

Magomed Ankalaev had some words for Jiri Prochazka in the aftermath of UFC 327. Prochazka shared the Octagon with Carlos Ulberg in hopes of becoming a two-time UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. Early on in the fight, Ulberg suffered a knee injury. While many felt this would be the beginning of the end for “Black Jag,” Prochazka got caught with a hook that sent him crashing down to the mat. Ulberg followed up with punches on the ground to seal the knockout win.

Paddy Pimblett couldn’t believe Carlos Ulberg pulled off the KO win at UFC 327 despite being injured. Ulberg and Jiri Prochazka collided in the main event of UFC 327 in Miami this past Saturday. The vacant UFC Light Heavyweight Championship was at stake. Early on in the fight, Ulberg planted his foot the wrong way, and he suffered a knee injury as a result.

Gable Steveson is officially a member of the UFC roster, and Dana White has shared his first words publicly on the signing. During the UFC 327 broadcast this past Saturday, it was announced that Steveson is the newest addition of the top MMA promotion’s heavyweight roster. Steveson attended UFC 327 along with Jon Jones inside the Kaseya Center in Miami.

Dana White isn’t the biggest fan of Josh Hokit’s antics, but as long as the UFC 327 winner produces, there won’t be much of an issue. Hokit had a big night on Saturday when he defeated Curtis Blaydes via unanimous decision in Miami. Not only did Hokit earn the win and two bonuses, but he also scored a spot on the UFC Freedom 250 card. He will be facing Derrick Lewis after POTUS Donald Trump requested “The Black Beast” for the June 14 show.

Now that the dust has settled for UFC 327, new betting odds for potential bouts involving newly-minted light heavyweight champion Carlos Ulberg have surfaced. Ulberg clashed with Jiri Prochazka in the main event of UFC 327 this past Saturday in Miami. Things weren’t looking good for “Black Jag,” who suffered a knee injury early on. It ultimately didn’t matter, as Ulberg shut the lights off Prochazka to become the new 205-pound king.

Murzakanov was the betting favorite ahead of fight night, but “Borrachinha” proved that he’s a new threat in the light heavyweight division.

He was able to pick up a blockbuster win over Jiri Prochazka, knocking the former world champion out on what was essentially one leg. While a big focus is on how Jiri bounces back from this disappointing result, and how he let it slip through his fingers, Carlos deserves some praise, too.

It seemed as if the fight was there to be won for Jiri after Carlos appeared to sustain a knee injury, and yet, it didn’t quite work out that way with the Czech sensation opting to show Ulberg mercy.

The Octagon returned to Miami, Florida, for tonight’s UFC 327 event, a 12-bout fight card headlined by Jiri Prochazka vs. Carlos Ulberg. The highly anticipated light heavyweight title fight resulted in one of the craziest finishes in recent memory. After getting off to a good start with some hard low kicks, Carlos Ulberg seemingly blew out his knee while sliding out of the pocket. Jiri Prochazka initially pounced at the opportunity, but after landing some nasty low kicks to the injured leg of Ulberg and recognizing the extent of his opponent’s injury, Prochazka seemingly let up. It was shortly after his aggression stopped that ‘Black Jag’ was able to find a home for a big left hook that sent the Czech fighter crashing to the canvas. Ulberg jumped all over Jiri with hammer fists and put him out cold for a brief moment.
