UFC 327 Results: Carlos Ulberg KO’s Jiri Prochazka (Video)

Prochazka (32-5-1 MMA) will be looking to once again be crowned the UFC light heavyweight champion when he collides with Ulberg for the promotion’s vacant 205lbs title this evening in Florida. The Czech standout has won two fights in a row, scoring stoppage wins over Jamahal Hill and Khalil Rountree Jr. in his most recent Octagon appearances.

Meanwhile, Carlos Ulberg (13-1 MMA) will enter his first career title fight on a nine-fight winning streak, his most recent victory being a first-round knockout over Dominick Reyes this past September (see that here). Prior to that triumph, ‘Black Jag’ was coming off back-to-back unanimous decision wins over Jan Blachowicz and Volkan Oezdemir.

Round one of the UFC 327 headliner begins and Carlos Ulberg lands a nice low kick to get things started. Another low kick to the lead leg. Jiri Prochazka charges forward with a pair of punches. He lands his first leg kick of the contest. Another low kick from Ulberg. And another. Both men swing and miss with left hook attempts. Prochazka with a hard low kick and another. Carlos Ulberg’s knee is in bad shape. He charges forward with a flurry of punches. Jiri circles off the fence and lands two hard low kicks. Ulberg tries to throw a high kick and his leg gives out. He slips to the canvas and pops back up to his feet. Ulberg with a massive combination and Prochazka goes down. Some huge hammer fists and Jiri is out cold. WOW. That is insane. His knee was done. Crazy stuff in Miami this evening.
