VIDEO | Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone Is Changing Weight Divisions Again
Justin Golightly - December 1, 2017
After a long career at lightweight and an unsuccessful title show, Cowboy Cerrone made the jump up to welterweight. He rattled off a four-fight win streak before coming short against Jorge Masvidal and Robbie Lawler. His last lost at welterweight was against a guy he claimed he didn’t even know until he accepted the fight. However, he shares with Brendan Schaub and Bryan Callen that he knows who Darren Till is now. He also revealed that after his latest bumpy ride at welterweight, he’s going back to lightweight. “I have a very clear of who Darren f-cking Till is now. […] I’m going back to [lightweight]. I’m going back to ’55. It was [a tough cut], but I’m only 175, I’ve been waking up at 175 every day, so I was like, pffft, I’m fine. I’m more focused. At ’70 I can just not train and f-ck off. So, I put more into it at ’55. So let’s do it, man. Let’s go back, have a couple more fights. Yeah, I probably won’t take 20 a year anymore. I’ll probably take it down a little bit.” — Donald Cerrone via The Fighter and The Kid.

Sijara Eubanks Releases Statement on Pulling Out of First Women's Flyweight Title Fight
Justin Golightly - November 30, 2017
After Sijara Eubanks fought her way through an entire house of flyweights, she was ready for her big UFC moment and title fight. The 12-seed proved everyone wrong and silenced critics with her surprise performances on The Ultimate Fighter. What comes as another surprise, is her unfortunate kidney failure that resulted in her having to pull out of the biggest moment of her career. She recently opened up on the incident on social media. “First of all, I’m a champion. Point blank. I will be UFC champion, but it’s God’s will that it won’t be Friday night. I’m a gangster and I’ve cut more weight than most male fighters, and unfortunately there were some miscalculations this cut, no excuses, I worked my ass off and went out on my shield. I was hospitalized early this morning for kidney failure but best believe I’ma be right back training and right back after that belt. This game is full of ups and downs, true champs know that and bounce back. Nicco and Roxanne I’m sure will have a great fight, and best wishes to both those ladies. True class, those two. Nothing changes, I’m still the queen and I will claim my throne. Thank you to all my coaches, friends and family and the wonderful staff at UFC. God is good and I am truly blessed.” – Sijara Eubanks on her official Instagram.

Justin Golightly - November 30, 2017
No, that’s not Roy Nelson walking around in a Carhartt shirt and backwards cap, that’s rapper/chef/mogul ACtion Bronson. Before UFC 217, Joanna Jedrzejczyk dropped by VICE and created a partnership of massive proportions. While Jedrzejczyk has been dominating in the UFC, rapper Bronson has been taking over the airwaves. His nomadic culinary adventures that span across multiple continents and outlets have culminated in his latest venture: The Untitled Action Bronson Show. His new VICELAND creation serves as a homebase where he takes a break from doing cannonballs off of ships into the Adriatic Sea, to invite his favorite people to take part in an unorganized explosion of food and entertainment. EXCLUSIVE | Chael Sonnen believes we all owe Colby Covington a "thank you"
Tom Taylor - November 30, 2017
Do not count Chael Sonnen among Colby Covington’s haters. No, “The Bad Guy” has actually become a big fan of his fellow Oregonian, and thinks that other fighters should be taking notes when Covington does his thing. “I think people can learn from Colby,” Sonnen said on the latest episode of BJ Penn Radio. “He’s going to be in that pool by himself, because all these crybabies can’t stand to hear anybody boo them. He’s just being himself and it’s what all fighters should do. We’ll see these fighters come out. They want to act like some religious angel or they’re the world’s nicest guy, when they’re nothing more than a dirty rotten cage fighter.”
EXCLUSIVE | Chael Sonnen blasts the "crybabies" who criticized Michael Bisping's quick turnaround
Tom Taylor - November 30, 2017
Back in early November, Michael Bisping surrendered the UFC middleweight title to Georges St-Pierre, succumbing to a rear-naked choke after absorbing quite a bit of punishment. In an effort to bounce back from this loss as quickly as possible, Bisping then accepted a short notice fight with the cinderblock-fisted Kelvin Gastelum, replacing former champion Anderson Silva. While some people applauded Bisping for this get-up-and-go attitude, others scolded him (and the UFC) for booking the fight so soon after his concussive loss to St-Pierre. If you’re one of the people who criticized Bisping for taking this risk, Chael Sonnen has a message for you. He gave his take on the situation on the latest episode of BJ Penn Radio.
VIDEO | Francis Ngannou Completely Destroys Head Coach at Open Workouts
Justin Golightly - November 30, 2017
The hype surrounding heavyweight’s new beast Francis Ngannou couldn’t be greater. Dana White has labeled him the next big thing in MMA, literally and figuratively. Clearly, the UFC is putting a lot of stock in the young, surging contender. He pretty much as moved into the organization’s Performance Institute and was recently tested to prove he’s the hardest punching man on Earth, which resulted in Joe Rogan singing his praises on a recent podcast. If all that wasn’t enough, take the time to watch his UFC 219 open workout because it is downright hard to watch him inflict punishment on his head coach. It takes a brave man to hold pads for top UFC heavyweight contender @francis_ngannou 😵. Watch N’Gannou’s full #UFC218 Open Workout video: https://t.co/8SLUFNXY3x pic.twitter.com/ahgQoHl2gy
Cyborg's Coach: The Holm Who Fought Bethe Correia Will 'Go To Sleep' at UFC 219
Justin Golightly - November 30, 2017
After a long time of negotiations and build-up, we finally have the UFC women’s featherweight title fight that many believed we should have gotten all along. Cris Cyborg will defend her title against Holly Holm in just a month to also contend her status as the best female fighter in the world. Cyborg’s coach thinks Holm’s last fight is telling on how the scrap at UFC 219 will go, but thinks even the best Holly Holm will have no choice but to fall at Cyborg’s hands. “When I watched Holly Holm’s last fight against Bethe Correia or whatever it was, that Bethe girl, Bethe, her level of striking is at the lowest level of the game, the lowest level of the game! And I watched her f-cking batter around for three rounds, Holly trying to get her out of there. Did she finally get her out of there with the head kick? Yes. Should that have happened in the first minute of the first round of the level that both of them are at? Yes. She should have knocked her – look at what Ronda Rousey did to that girl. Ronda Rousey, again, the lowest level of striking in the MMA game, went out and knocked Bethe Correia the f-ck out in the first fucking minute of their god damn fight. And styles make fights, there’s no math on that and I get it, I get it, but Bethe Correia is very ordinary, very ordinary with a low skill-level in striking. Sorry Bethe if you hear this interview, it’s no disrespect to you but it’s just a fact. It is what it is. And I didn’t see the Holly Holm that fought Ronda Rousey out there when she fought Bethe. If there was, she probably would have smoked her a little sooner now wouldn’t she?”

Chuck Liddell once again drops major hint surrounding potential comeback
Tom Taylor - November 30, 2017
For a time, it sounded as though former UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell would almost certainly return to the cage. We learned that he’d met with Bellator boss Scott Coker, while current Bellator star Chael Sonnen assured that a bout with the UFC legend was a very real possibility. Then, however, this possibility was stomped out. Liddell assured there would be no comeback, and even Sonnen admitted it wasn’t going to happen. But hold on… what’s this?
