In fact, he considers Ferguson a tougher test than his other recent opponents like Edson Barboza, Rafael dos Anjos, Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier and Al Iaquinta. Nurmagomedov rated Ferguson against his other recent opponents in a recent interview with TMZ.

Last March at UFC London, Till was the main event against Jorge Masvidal while Edwards was the co-main against Gunnar Nelson. Yet, during the press conference, it was the two Englishman going back-and-forth in trash-talking one another. Edwards admits that was the fight he would’ve rather had.

Speaking to TMZ, Nurmagomedov disparaged McGregor’s recent win over the veteran Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, and accused the Irishman of avoiding more difficult opponents like Justin Gaethje.

Ever since Jan Blachowicz dismantled Corey Anderson at UFC Rio Rancho many fans have been calling for the Pole to receive the next shot at Jon Jones’ title. Blachowicz has won seven of his last eight fights with the knockout over Anderson coming just seven months after he also knocked out Luke Rockhold.

After the news was announced about a bantamweight title fight between champion Henry Cejudo and former featherweight champion Jose Aldo, who is coming off a loss in his last fight, many bantamweight contenders took exception. One of those bantamweights, Aljamain Sterling, continued to express his frustration with the matchup on Tuesday. During an interview with MMA Tonight on Sirius XM with RJ Clifford and UFC light heavyweight Anthony Smith, Sterling discussed why he believes the UFC picked Aldo over him. When asked about the decision, Sterling said he believes the UFC is milking the former champion for his money before his career is over.

Justin Gaethje is interested in fighting Dublin, Ireland. Gaethje has recently been calling out Conor McGregor and there were reports they are linked to a summertime scrap. Given there is an upcoming card in Dublin, Ireland on August 15, “The Highlight” says he’d love to be featured at the event.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk is still not a fan of her teammate, Colby Covington. Covington had a public falling out with Jorge Masvidal and Dustin Poirier at American Top Team. And, it didn’t stop there as Jedrzejczyk said she and Covington got into a massive argument before her last fight in October. It resulted in the former champion doing interviews saying she hopes Usman beats Covington’s ass.

MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz is denying the rumored matchup between UFC lightweight superstar Conor McGregor and his client Justin Gaethje. On Monday, ESPN’s Ariel Helwani reported that the UFC was in talks about booking a summertime matchup between McGregor and Gaethje. But according to Abdelaziz, that rumor is “absolutely false.”

UFC bantamweight contender Aljamain Sterling says the UFC is considering booking a four-man tournament to determine the next contender at 135lbs. It was officially announced on Monday that UFC bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo will take on Jose Aldo in the main event of UFC 250 on May 9 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. By giving Aldo the title shot, it left the other top contenders at 135lbs without the opportunity to fight for the belt even though there are at least four other fighters more deserving based on merit.

Following the UFC 246 main event which saw Conor McGregor defeat Donald Cerrone in a 40-second TKO, ESPN broadcaster Stephen A. Smith said he felt Cerrone’s performance was “atrocious.” That comment brought criticism from the likes of Joe Rogan, Jon Jones, and even McGregor himself. After making it known that he wouldn’t be apologizing to anyone and being defended by others like Chael Sonnen and Nate Diaz, the ongoing feud between Smith and the MMA world seemed to quiet down — until now.

Heading into her upcoming fight on Saturday, Megan Anderson has found a new lease on life. The now 30-year-old will face the unbeaten Octagon debutante Norma Dumont at UFC on ESPN+ 27. The event takes place at the Chartway Arena in Norfolk, Va. and will be headlined by Joseph Benavidez and Deiveson Figureiredo battling for the vacant UFC flyweight title.

Primus and Chandler originally met at Bellator NYC in June of 2017 where Primus beat the champ by TKO via leg injury in the first round. The two then had a rematch a year and a half later at Bellator 212 where this time it was Chandler who got his hand raised by decision win the belt back.

Ahead of his rematch with Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury claimed that, if he won, he would “binge on cocaine and hookers” at his Las Vegas afterparty. While it’s unlikely that drugs and prostitutes actually factored into his plans, he certainly seems to have had a wild celebration for the fight, which he won by seventh-round TKO to claim the WBC heavyweight title. The new champ, who’s never been shy to show of his pipes on the mic, even got the whole crowd in attendance singing.

Spencer, who’s coming off a decision loss to Cris Cyborg at UFC 240, is set to return to the Octagon on Saturday against Zarah Fairn dos Santos in the co-main event. For the Canadian, after getting the chance to share the Octagon with Cyborg, she is feeling more than prepared for this fight.

Hooker is coming off the back of a thrilling win over Paul Felder at UFC Auckland, and while the victory may have been seen as controversial by some who believed Felder should’ve gotten the nod, the fight itself served as undeniable proof that Hooker has the potential to do some big things at lightweight.
