Danny Trejo to serve as ring announcer for Karate Combat: Hollywood

Next time we see Danny Trejo on our screens, it won’t be as an actor. The Hollywood star, who has appeared in films like Heat, Con Air, Blood In Blood Out, Anaconda and Machete, will be moonlighting as a special guest commentator at Karate Combat: Hollywood, which is scheduled for January 24 at 10pm.

This Karate Combat card will air on UFC Fight Pass.

Other than the ring announcing of Danny Trejo, the main attraction of this Karate Combat card will be a “Challenger Match” between Brazil’s Luiz Rocha and Russia’s Myrza Tebuev. The winner of this fight will move move on to battle for a “Golden Belt” at a future Karate Combate event.

According to Sherdog, this organization is plotting future events in exotic locations like Kyoto, Shanghai, Rio, Paris, Madrid, Miami, New York City, and in cities in Italy and Latvia.
