Video: Anderson Silva questions sport of MMA with his controversial third round knee

March 1, 2016 1:33 pm by Russell Ess

Anderson Silva is still upset about the outcome of the five round war with Michael Bisping. Silva’s camp has even requested that the commission review the decision outcome.

The Spider” posted a clip of his knee that landed in the third round and wrote in the caption of his Instagram post: “Isso é um esporte né ? As pessoas queriam que eu tivesse assasinado o meu adversário. This is a sport, isn’t it ? So why do people expected me to kill my opponent?!”

While Silva walked away after the devastating knee sunk Bisping to the mat, referee Herb Dean never called a stop to the fight and the roar from the crowd in the O2 Arena was so loud that the end of round the bell could not be heard, which also added more confusion to the controversial fight.

What are your thoughts on the end of the third round? Should the fight have been stopped there? Explain your thoughts with us in the comment section!
