One of the common threads in most martial artists who take up the sport is the ability to have respect not just for your opponent but an overall respect in general. This obviously doesn’t apply to all who practice or compete.
Most times when respect isn’t given, unexpected turn of events may unfold due to a fighter underestimating their opponents skill.
