And it’s generated more than it’s fair share of homophobic feedback. Leavitt – who has been married to his wife Ashlie for three years – revealed that some users on social media have taken to sending him not just gay slurs but penis pictures as well.

Sean O’Malley believes that if he can pull off something “spectacular” in his fight with Petr Yan, his star level will push him closer to the status of Conor McGregor. O’Malley and Yan are set to clash inside Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on October 22. The “Sugar” show enters the fight as the number 12-ranked UFC bantamweight, while Yan holds the number one spot behind current 135-pound titleholder Aljamain Sterling.

Justin Gaethje thinks the UFC Lightweight Championship fight between Charles Oliveira and Islam Makhachev could be a barn burner, but he thinks it also has a chance of being a dud. Oliveira vs. Makhachev will headline UFC 280 on October 22. The title fight will be held inside Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. Oliveira would’ve entered the fight as the UFC Lightweight Champion, but he was stripped of the gold one day before his UFC 274 fight with Gaethje due to missing championship weight. Oliveira defeated “The Highlight” via first-round submission.

Paddy Pimblett claims he’s having a hard time getting an opponent. Pimblett hasn’t fought since UFC London in July when he scored a submission victory over Jordan Leavitt. After the win, the plan was for Pimblett to return later this year and his goal was to be on UFC 282 in Las Vegas. However, according to ‘The Baddy’ he’s having a difficult time getting an opponent to sign the contract.

Julianna Pena is confident she will get a trilogy match with Amanda Nunes her next time out. Pena and Nunes first met in the co-main event of UFC 269 with ‘The Venezuelan Vixen’ pulling off a massive upset as she submitted ‘The Lioness’ to become the new bantamweight champ. The two then had an immediate rematch in the main event of UFC 277 with Nunes winning a clear-cut decision to reclaim her title.

Charles Oliveira has responded after Islam Makhachev expressed concern that their UFC 280 title fight may not come to fruition. Oliveira (33-8 MMA) and Makhachev (22-1 MMA) are set to collide for the promotions vacant lightweight title in the main event of UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi on October 22nd.

And while he has a ways to go before he begins to challenge Anderson Silva’s ten title defense record, the pressure that comes with being a dominant champion is already mounting on ‘The Last Stylebender.’ One person who knows a little bit about the stresses of a long championship run is Georges St-Pierre, who was a two time welterweight champion and defended his title nine times between 2006 and 2013. That streak cemented him as a top G.O.A.T. contender, but it also did his head in to the point where he relinquished his belt and walked away from the sport for four years.

Justin Gaethje (23-4 MMA) is ready to re-enter the Octagon after having his nose rebuilt following his loss to Charles Oliveira (33-8 MMA) at UFC 274 in May of this year. A possible opponent was thought to be Conor McGregor (22-6).

Dana White has never been fitter in his life, and he owes the change to ‘human biologist and mortality expert’ Gary Brecka, who initially diagnosed him with just 10 years to live. Not, as some online have suggested, to steroids. According to White, Brecka took a full blood panel and quickly identified several worrisome health markers, including a triglyceride count above 750mg/dL. For reference, the normal range sits below 150, meaning the UFC president was one more UFC 279 incident away from a stroke.
