Topuria (17-0 MMA) will be returning to action for the first time since violently knocking out Charles Oliveira in the first-round of their title fight at UFC 317 in June of last year. Prior to that triumph, ‘El Matador’ was coming off back-to-back knockout wins over Max Holloway and Alex Volkanovski respectively.

Salah Hamli is the combatant in question, and the PFL MENA champion from 2025 trains out of the same gym that Ilia Topuria does. When asked for his thoughts on the UFC White House clash with interim champ Justin Gaethje vying for Topuria’s lightweight title on June 14th, Hamli said [via Bowks Talking Bouts], “Yeah. When I enter my gym, my first famous person I see, my first UFC fighter I see in-person is Ilia Topuria. He only have one fight when I enter the gym to start training and it’s like wow, I see him grow up. He right now fight in the white house with a legend like Justin Gaethje. I think Ilia is [on] another level. I think he finishes him in the first round and all the people will see.”

Khamzat Chimaev is blaming Dillon Danis for starting their post-match brawl at RAF 10. This past Saturday, Chimaev and Danis collided on the mat for a freestyle wrestling match in St. Louis. “Borz” pinned Danis in less than a minute, but things went off the rails after Chimaev kicked “El Jefe” in the leg. A slew of members from Chimaev’s camp then went after Danis, throwing punches and kicks.

Justin Gaethje has said his peace one more time before he does battle with Ilia Topuria at UFC Freedom 250. Gaethje and Topuria will compete in the main event of Sunday’s historic card on the White House lawn. “The Highlight” and “El Matador” will be competing to unify the UFC Lightweight Championship. Gaethje is entering as the interim titleholder. He won the title by defeating Paddy Pimblett after Topuria went on a brief hiatus.
