As the fight draws ever closer, the Vietnamese-American is confident that he has the skills to swipe the belt from Nguyen’s waist.

Nurmagomedov, the UFC lightweight champion, has never been beaten in 28 professional fights. Lee is very impressed by the UFC champ, but believes he’s beatable—and would love to have the opportunity to prove it one day.

Even amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the Burmese champion had faith that ONE Championship would find a way to get him back into the cage. Lee, who has held the ONE atomweight belt in a vice grip since 2016, is expecting her first child in April. While her pregnancy will keep her out of competition for some time, she plans to return better than ever once her baby has arrived.

However, Lee and her husband Bruno Pucci recently announced that they’re expecting their first child, which means the long-time titleholder will be out of action for some time.

ONE Championship has revealed the complete lineup for the upcoming ONE: Reign of Dynasties card, which is scheduled for October 9. The card is headlined by a ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Title clash. A co-main event featuring two of the promotion’s best flyweight contenders rounds out the six-bout offering. The venue and location for this event have yet to be confirmed and announced by ONE Championship.
