If reports hold true, the MMA world just got loads better and Bellator now has a shot at longevity.
Former Strikeforce president Scott Coker (pictured), the man who lead the world’s #2 MMA promotion for years, has reportedly been pegged to replace the controversial Bjorn Rebney as Bellator president.
No oword from Bellator officials on the move at this time, however several sources indicate this shift in power to be forthcoming.
Bellator has been a struggling promotion with Rebney at the helm, and despite incredible backing by Viacom and SPIKE TV, have yet to break out into relevancy.
Scott Coker will definitely give them a chance.
More on this as it becomes available.
