UFC Fight Island 3 medical suspensions: Darren Till, Robert Whittaker facing short breaks

By Tom Taylor - July 29, 2020

The medical suspensions for UFC Fight Island 3 are in, and neither Robert Whittaker nor Darren Till will be out long.

Whittaker and Till met in the UFC Fight Island 3 main event, with Whittaker ultimately winning a closely contested decision.

Because the card occurred in Abu Dhabi, outside the jurisdiction of an MMA regulatory body, the UFC handled post-fight medical suspensions itself. It gave both Whittaker and Till 30-day suspensions. This news comes as a bit of a surprise as Till was rumored to need knee surgery after the loss.
