TJ Dillashaw trashes “little b***h” Cody Garbrandt

In the buildup to their first fight, TJ Dillashaw and Cody Garbrandt exchanged plenty of trash talk. In the buildup to their rematch, which headlines UFC 227 on August 4, things have been quieter.

From the looks of it, Dillashaw is looking to change that.

On Saturday night, the reigning bantamweight champ went off on his arch rival on Instagram, promising to teach him some respect in their rematch.

“Some times you just got to slap a little bitch in the face with your foot to shut their mouth,” Dillashaw said in an Instagram post. “It’s funny how quiet Cody has been this time around. You scared little boy, respect your elders. hahahaha when you teach a bully a lesson.”

Dillashaw and Garbrandt also appeared during Saturday night’s UFC Calgary broadcast — and Dillashaw let loose some pretty venomous verbiage there too.

“You know, you gotta feel kinda bad for Cody,” Dillashaw said (via MMAMania). “He’s fighting a rivalry that’s not even his. This was put on his shoulders. He’s got all this pressure behind this team, and this rivalry that was created by Urijah [Faber] and the team behind him. The way he’s handled it has been a little childish. The way he’s handled it has been a little childish, and I was glad to put a stop to it the first time. It’s been a lot more enjoyable, once you knock someone out, they can’t act tough any more.”

“Cody should be thanking me,” he added. “The only reason he’s getting this title match is that everyone wants to see him get knocked out. The fans, the UFC, Dana White, everyone wants to see him get knocked out.
