Tito Ortiz Says The Fans 'Deserve' The Fight Between Cyborg and Ronda Rousey
Justin Golightly - December 7, 2017
At the end of the month, one of the biggest women’s MMA fights of all-time will go down at UFC 219. Holly Holm will step into the Octagon to challenge Cris Cyborg for her women’s UFC featherweight title. A huge fight like this with such high stakes hearkens back to when Holm fought Ronda Rousey and finished her to become the women’s bantamweight champion in Australia. That feeling can’t help but conjure up images for Tito Ortiz of the fight that never was — Cris Cyborg versus Ronda Rousey — and he thinks the fans deserve to have that happen. “I think the fans deserve [the fight between Cris Cyborg and Ronda Rousey]. Cris deserves it, and for sure I think Ronda deserves it after everything she’s said about Cris. If you’re ever gonna’ talk about somebody, at least step in the cage and try to prove yourself. But she’s afraid to do it, I understand. There’s many women who are afraid to fight Cris, and I’d just say the proof is in the pudding of how dangerous Cris truly is. If that fight’s in front of her it shows that UFC are able to once again put a great, huge fight together.”

Dana White on Ronda Rousey: she refuses to retire
Tom Taylor - November 29, 2017
It’s now been almost a year since Ronda Rousey’s last fight: an abrupt and jarring loss to reigning UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes. Rousey’s next most recent fight, her infamous, head-kick knockout loss to Holly Holm, was now more than two years ago. Needless to say, the once dominant UFC women’s bantamweight queen an transcendent MMA star seems to be easing into a retirement from fighting. According to UFC President Dana White, however, Rousey refuses to close the door on her fighting career completely.
Dana White argues Ronda Rousey is "underrated"
Tom Taylor - October 18, 2017
For a time, Ronda Rousey stood out as the best female mixed martial artist on earth. She was the picture of dominance, destroying whoever the UFC threw at her with apparent ease, from Miesha Tate, to Cat Zingano to Bethe Correia. Then, it all came crashing down. After being knocked senseless by a Holly Holm head kick, Rousey retreated into the shadows for over a year. And after being clobbered by Amanda Nunes in her long-awaited comeback fight, there is now real doubt that she’ll ever fight again.
Tyron Woodley believes there's only one fight that Ronda Rousey will return for
Tom Taylor - October 16, 2017
It has now been almost a year since Ronda Rousey‘s last fight: an abrupt, December 2016 knockout loss to reigning UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes. This last Rousey fight, meanwhile, was preceded by an even longer layoff, as her next most recent fight occurred all the way back in November of 2015, when she was knocked out by a Holly Holm head kick. Given Rousey’s recent inactivity, there is a common perception that she will never fight again. UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley shares this opinion, though he does believe there is one possible opponent who could lure Rousey back to the cage: fellow MMA trailblazer Gina Carano.
VIDEO | Ronda Rousey Continues to Tease WWE Move But Doesn't Want to Spoil It
Justin Golightly - October 11, 2017
Ronda Rousey is out enjoying married life and a new co-owner position at a supplement company. However, the fans still want to know what the future holds for the former UFC champion. Even if MMA is out of the question, the idea that she may transition to pro wrestling has been teased for a long time. It all started back when she appeared at Wrestlemania at the height of her career to Judo throw Triple H. Now that her friend and Four Horsewomen member Shayna Baszler had entered the fold, it’s been more and more likely that she’ll sign on as well. She’s still mum on the subject, but hinted she doesn’t want to ruin anything. “If you were a real [wrestling] fan, would you really want to know [if I was making my debut]? No, you wouldn’t. My best friends that are out there wrestling, like Shayna [Baszler], I don’t ever even want her to tell me anything that will ever happen [in the WWE] because I enjoy it more that way and I don’t want to ruin anything. We are at a crossroads and we have the luxury of time.” – Ronda Rousey to TMZ.
VIDEO | Ronda Rousey is Releasing a Line of Women's Nutritional Supplements
Justin Golightly - October 3, 2017
Ronda Rousey may have been taken a break from MMA ― maybe even a full-on retirement this time ― but that doesn’t mean she’s not been doing anything. She was with Shayna Baszler every step of the way through the WWE’s Mae Young Classic tournament, she may be heading to WWE herself, and she was just married to UFC heavyweight Travis Browne. Her latest announcement, is that she’ll be co-owner of a supplement company which will release her own line of women’s products. “I’ve had many offers to work with different nutritional companies. One reason why I’ve been so hesitant to partner with anyone else is I grew up in the Olympic testing system. I’ve been drug tested since I was 14-years old. I was always taught that whatever you put in your body is your own responsibility and you’re taking a risk every single time.”
Coach Edmond Tarverdyan on his critics: 'I know I know how to coach'
Russell Ess - September 19, 2017
You often hear in the sport of mixed martial arts that fighters experience the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. In most cases, it isn’t just the fighters competing in the bout that experience the rollercoaster of emotions but their team is also on the ride with them. Coaches and training partners who spend their time and efforts preparing for a fight also experience the joy of winning and sorrow of losing.
Coach Edmond Tarverdyan discusses Ronda Rousey's future, still wants "Cyborg" fight
Tom Taylor - September 18, 2017
Back in November of 2015, the seemingly unbeatable Ronda Rousey stepped into the cage with former boxing champ Holly Holm for what was expected to be yet another lopsided title defense. Then, Holly Holm kicked her head into the Kuiper Belt. After this shocking loss, Rousey disappeared from the limelight almost completely. Though discussions surrounding her fighting future were common, she rarely appeared in public or partook in any interactions with the press.

Justin Golightly - September 5, 2017
Just last week, Triple H sat down on ESPN and talked about former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey. He said that he and Rousey were in talks and that the door was always open for her to come wrestle in the WWE. That led us to believe that Rousey was close to stepping inside those ropes and doing a little more than just hip tossing someone, but we had no idea how close it actually was. Just yesterday, Ronda Rousey was featured in an official WWE video being confronted by Charlotte Flair, Bayley and Becky Lynch. Tom Taylor - August 30, 2017
While Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor‘s battle raged in the the desert town of Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday night, former UFC women’s bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey and her beau, UFC heavyweight Travis Browne, tied the knot in Hawaii. From the looks of it, it was a gorgeous wedding. Unsurprisingly, this wedding was a pretty exclusive affair. That said, a well-known trio of Rousey training partners in Jessamyn Duke, Shayna Baszler and Marina Shafir were obviously on site for the festivities. At some point in the night, Rousey and the three women, who together compose a quartet nicknamed The Four Horsewomen, posed for an awesome photo. See it below:

Rousey and Browne announced their engagement back in April and they tied the knot on Saturday, which was on the same day as the historic fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor. UFC President Dana White was invited to the wedding but was slightly busy with his work schedule for what was expected by many to be the richest fight in the history of combat sports.
Ronda Rousey is Getting Married Tonight for Mayweather vs McGregor
Justin Golightly - August 26, 2017
Have we stepped into some alternate dimension? Did Conor McGregor pierce through the space time continuum when he knocked out Jose Aldo with that mutant left hand of his? Once this whole boxing Floyd Mayweather thing happened, we should have known something was up. If this was a movie, it couldn’t have been written any better, that’s because the script would be so ridiculous that no company would green light it: Paul Malignaggi trying to fight McGregor and flipping out on fans, Demi Lovato, Mayweather rollerskating, green and yellow popcorn!? To put the icing on the cake, Ronda Rousey is getting married. Today. Tonight. During the money fight. Of all the stars that have been in the spotlight in the UFC, which one fighter would you say would be the iconic Mike Tyson of the promotion? There have been quite a few massive stars that have made a name for themselves and helped bring eyes to the sport. Think back to some of the names from the early days all the way up to the present. Royce Gracie, Chuck Liddell, Anderson Silva, Jon Jones, and Conor McGregor are all likely names that many fans could bring up and make a solid case for.
Travis Browne goes off on Facebook troll
Russell Ess - August 4, 2017
When you’re in the spotlight, a lot of people from all walks of life have their eyes on you. There are fans that will stick by your side no matter what situation you are put through in life while there are the trolls that try to bring you down when you feel on top of the world. A perfect example is with MMA power couple Travis Browne and Ronda Rousey. The two stars are engaged and couldn’t be more happy with one another but that won’t stop some keyboard warriors trying to bring them down.

bjpenndotcom - August 4, 2017
While former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey may not have given any indications as to whether or not she will officially retire any time soon, the MMA community has continued to speculate as to whether the former champ would return to the Octagon or not. After suffering the first defeat of her professional career at UFC 193, Rousey returned to the Octagon in the main event of UFC 207, where she dropped a 1st round TKO to Amanda Nunes in a failed bid at recapturing her title.
