Former UFC two-division champion Jon Jones was expected to be a big name on the upcoming White House card following his abrupt retirement last summer. But UFC CEO Dana White repeatedly dismissed the idea of Jones fighting at the White House after what he perceived as several red flags outside of the Octagon.

For the first time in years, former two-division UFC champion Jon Jones visited BJ Penn in his native Hawaii after years of Penn making surprise appearances at Jackson-Wink MMA in Albuquerque.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou is set to return to MMA — and he’ll do it on Netflix. Early on Monday morning, it was announced that Ngannou will take on fellow UFC outcast Philipe Lins on May 16. The bout will serve as co-headliner to the much discussed Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano clash. It will be promoted by Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions.

Tom Aspinall has shared his reaction to the interim UFC Heavyweight Championship fight between Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane. During the UFC 326 broadcast, the bout between Pereira and Gane was announced. “Poatan” vacated the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship to move up in weight. With Aspinall in recovery mode following double eye surgery, UFC felt an interim title was needed for its June 14 White House card.

Charles Oliveira is aware of comments made by Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz following his UFC 326 win. Oliveira fought Max Holloway for the BMF Championship on Saturday. The bout didn’t go the way many anticipated. Oliveira’s grappling was dominant throughout the fight, and he never allowed “Blessed” to get anything going. Ultimately, “do Bronxs” won the fight via unanimous decision.

Arman Tsarukyan still hasn’t found himself in the good graces of UFC CEO Dana White. Tsarukyan was in attendance for UFC 326 and was even seen on camera during the broadcast. That isn’t an indicator that “Ahalkalakets” has smoothed things over, however. During the UFC 326 post-fight press conference, White reacted to Tsarukyan’s recent RAF incident with Georgio Poullas (h/t MMAFighting).

Jon Jones has expressed disappointment in Dana White following recent claims after the UFC Freedom 250 announcement. During Saturday’s UFC 326 broadcast, the card for Freedom 250 was revealed. The headliner will be an undisputed lightweight title fight between Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje. An interim UFC heavyweight title bout between Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane will serve as the co-headliner for the White House event.

Zuffa Boxing made a bold move signing Conor Benn to a one-fight deal worth $15 million. Hearn responded with quite the move of his own, representing UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall through Matchroom’s talent agency.

Last night, Charles Oliveira shocked many by dominating Max Holloway in the main event of UFC 326. He came in with a great game plan and he was able to stick to it thoroughly, taking him down in every round of the fight. He was even able to get the better of Max on the feet, including in the classic ‘point down’ moment in the final seconds of the contest.
