Bo Nickal blasts ‘coward’ Colby Covington for turning down White House fight: ‘He said no’

Bo Nickal has continued to call out Colby Covington for turning him down.
Nickal and Covington have recently had a feud, and Nickal claims he was offered ‘Chaos’ at the White House. However, the former interim welterweight champ declined it. Nickal will end up fighting Kyle Daukaus at the White House instead, but he once again took a shot at Covington for turning down the fight.
“The (UFC) told him, ‘If you want to be on this card, you have to fight Bo,’ and he said no,” Nickal said to Ariel Helwani. “He would rather be a coward and not fight me than be on the White House card. Which is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”
Bo Nickal believes that shows what kind of person Colby Covington is by declining the fight, as his persona is about Donald Trump, and he didn’t even want to fight at the White House.
Bo Nickal believes he would’ve dominated Colby Covington
Although Nickal wanted to fight Covington, he thinks ‘Chaos’ made the right decision by not fighting him.
Nickal believes it would have been a lopsided bout. He thinks he would have dominated Covington and beat him however he wanted to.
“Everyone knows it would basically be like leading a lamb to slaughter,” Nickal said. “People would have liked to see. But, for him in his position, I understand it. In one sense, I understand, because you’re literally going out there just to get killed.
“On the other hand, it is a fight; you have a chance. And, it’s the White House, this will never happen again. I thought the fight would get made because of the circumstances, but he’s a coward at the end of the day.”
Yet, Nickal is still surprised Covington didn’t accept the bout, as it is a chance to fight in front of Trump at the White House.
