UFC 326 Results: Drew Dober KO’s Michael Johnson (Video)

Dober (29-15 MMA) was most previously seen in action this past October at UFC Vancouver, where he scored a TKO win over Kyle Prepolec. That victory snapped a three-fight losing skid for Dober, as he had previously suffered losses to Renato Moicano, Jean Silva and Manuel Torres.

Meanwhile, Michael Johnson (24-20 MMA) will enter tonight’s contest sporting a three-fight winning streak, with his latest Octagon victory coming over Daniel Zellhuber this past July at UFC 318. ‘The Menace’ has gone 4-1 over his past five fights overall.

Round one of this UFC 326 lightweight contest begins and Michael Johnson quickly takes the center of the cage and throws out a jab. Drew Dober looks to get inside and narrowly avoids a 1-2 counter while exiting the pocket. ‘The Menace’ with a nice low kick. Dober answers with a kick to the body. Johnson with a beautiful left hand over the top. Both men land low kicks. Dober with a sneaky left hook that lands flush. Another nice straight left from Michael Johnson. The fighters meet in the pocket and trade hooks. ‘MJ’ with another good jab. He tries a 1-2 but both shots are blocked. Drew Dober goes to the body with a right hand. He follows that up with a good hook. A nice body kick and then a spinning attempt that misses from Dober. ‘The Menace’ answers with a low kick and then a jab. Another jab and then a 1-2 from Michael Johnson. Both men with jabs to the body. The horn sounds to end the opening round.

Round two begins and Drew Dober comes forward more aggressively to start. He lands a couple of hooks. Michael Johnson with a low kick and then a jab. The fighters seem content to stand and trade here. Dober attacks. He lands a right and then a huge left behind it. Bam! Johnson goes down and this one is all over! WOW!
