UFC boss Dana White still at odds with Arman Tsarukyan, details remain scarce

Arman Tsarukyan still hasn’t found himself in the good graces of UFC CEO Dana White.

Tsarukyan was in attendance for UFC 326 and was even seen on camera during the broadcast. That isn’t an indicator that “Ahalkalakets” has smoothed things over, however. During the UFC 326 post-fight press conference, White reacted to Tsarukyan’s recent RAF incident with Georgio Poullas (h/t MMAFighting).

“I don’t love it,” White said. “But that night, that was somebody else’s problem, not mine. That’s really all I’ve got to say about that. The division’s heating up and lots of fun fights to make. We’ll get Arman figured out.”

While Tsarukyan’s post-match brawl with Poullas isn’t the cause of him being placed in the doghouse, White reiterated that issues behind the scenes are holding the top lightweight back.

“I’m not thrilled with Arman right now,” White said. “And there’s a lot of different reasons. It’s not just the stuff that you see publicly.”

White also appears to be convinced that Tsarukyan was the cause of the aforementioned brawl.

“Listen, there’s plenty of guys that wrestle that have been respectful with other guys that they wrestled,” White said. “I understand there was some back and forth with those guys but where there’s smoke, there’s fire. Arman’s been smoking a lot lately.”

Tsarukyan last competed back in Nov. 2025 when he submitted Dan Hooker in the UFC Qatar main event. Prior to the fight, Tsarukyan delivered a headbutt to Hooker during the ceremonial weigh-ins.

“Ahalkalakets” has had a reputation of taking things too far as of late, and it might explain why the UFC brass is having a difficult time trusting him. BJPenn.com will keep you posted with the latest updates on Tsarukyan.
