Last night at UFC 299, Dustin Poirier produced one of the biggest wins of his career. After a tough first round against Benoit Saint-Denis, ‘The Diamond’ battled back in a manner that few thought he could. He managed to knock the Frenchman out in devastating fashion in the second round, vaulting himself back into title contention in the process.

Tyson is a legend of the sweet science, but he will be 58 years old when he steps inside the ring with the 27-year-old Paul in an event that will air on Netflix. While no boxing expert believes Paul is a great prospect, his knockout power has long been proven and that could mean disaster for the far older Tyson on July 20. Some fight fans are having flashbacks to the 2021 boxing match between Evander Holyfield and Vitor Belfort, which saw “The Phenom” stop Holyfield, who was approaching 59 years old at the time, in the first round.

The highly anticipated men’s bantamweight title fight rematch resulted in an absolute masterclass from Sean O’Malley. While the fight ended up going the distance, O’Malley was able to put on a striking clinic, absolutely battering Marlon Vera for the majority of their twenty-five-minute affair. ‘Suga’ clearly had the speed advantage over ‘Chito’, which he utilized to control and smother the challenger. After five-rounds of hard-fought action, O’Malley was awarded a much-deserved unanimous decision victory.
