Nadaka to make first title defense against Songchainoi at ONE Samurai 1

ONE Samurai 1 keeps getting bigger. ONE Championship has announced that reigning ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Nadaka will make his first title defense against Thai contender Songchainoi Kiatsongrit at the inaugural edition of the new monthly Japan series on April 29 at Ariake Arena in Tokyo. The 25-year-old Eiwa Sports Gym fighter owns a 66-6 career striking record and went a perfect 4-0 inside ONE to claim the inaugural belt. He dominated Numsurin Chor Ketwina across five rounds at ONE 173 last November, earning a unanimous decision that extended his winning streak to 40 fights.

As expected, they hit the mats for some training together. The size difference between them was quite stark—then again, it’s not often you see a natural flyweight and a very big middleweight side by side.
