Tomyamkoong set to headline ONE Friday Fights 149 against Moldovan debutant Bejenuta Maximus

ONE Championship returns to Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, April 3, with a nine-bout card stacked from top to bottom. ONE Friday Fights 149 spans Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA, with the majority of athletes competing for a US$100,000 contract and a spot on ONE’s global roster.
Leading the card is flyweight Muay Thai, where Tomyamkoong Bhumjaithai squares off with Moldovan debutant Bejenuta Maximus. The 21-year-old PK Saenchai Muaythaigym fighter left his hometown of Surin at 15 to chase his dream in Bangkok.
His well-rounded game — which earned him his nickname after Thailand’s iconic soup dish — has him riding a two-fight winning streak and closing in fast on a six-figure deal.
Maximus brings a contrasting style to the main event. The Moldovan newcomer uses sharp footwork and creative combinations to disrupt opponents’ rhythm. He arrives at ONE looking to make a statement in his debut.
Isannuea meets Khunpon in ONE Friday Fights 149 co-main event
The co-main event brings another compelling flyweight Muay Thai matchup. Isannuea Sor Sasiwat, a 22-year-old clinch specialist from Ranong, has been relentless since arriving on the ONE Friday Fights circuit.
He picked up a knockout win over Sanit Aekmuangnon at ONE Friday Fights 140 and has shown the kind of pressure that can overwhelm any opponent.
Standing across from him is Khunpon Aekmuangnon, 20, out of Petchnumnoi in Phuket. He carries a five-fight winning streak and one of the sharpest southpaw body kicks in the division. Four consecutive victories have pushed him firmly into contract contention.
Elsewhere on the card, contracted ONE athlete Payakrut Suajantokmuaythai — the Road to ONE: Thailand 2024 winner — meets former WMC Champion Ikko Ota of Japan in strawweight Muay Thai.
Australia’s Isaiah Badato makes his ONE debut against Japan’s Retsu Sashida in flyweight kickboxing. Indonesia’s Delfan Dwi Satrio faces Japanese newcomer Blackshisha Sotaro in atomweight kickboxing.
Atomweight Muay Thai features Ployjan against Sweden’s Vanessa Romanowski. Russia’s Torepchi Dongak welcomes Tajikistani debutant Parviz Khamidzhonov in strawweight MMA.
Thailand’s Khunsuk takes on Myanmar’s Har Ling Om in atomweight Muay Thai. Finally, Spain’s Kevin Guillen makes his ONE debut against Turkey’s Ali Kelat in featherweight Muay Thai.
