Championship gold validates every sacrifice. Nadaka discovered this truth Saturday night, capturing the inaugural ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Title in front of his home crowd with a performance that showcased his complete skill set.

The 24-year-old Japanese striker dominated Numsurin Chor Ketwina across five rounds at ONE 173. The event took place on Saturday, November 16, inside Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan. The Eiwa Sports Gym representative picked apart the Thai veteran with clinical accuracy. He earned a unanimous decision that extended his remarkable winning streak to 40 consecutive victories.

The 10-time Muay Thai World Champion entered ONE Championship with a distinguished pedigree few could match. His feints created openings for devastating counters throughout the contest, while his combinations kept Numsurin on edge from the opening bell. Before the judges rendered their decision, Nadaka’s dominance made the outcome clear.

Capturing the inaugural crown represents his most prestigious achievement yet. The only non-Thai fighter to become a three-division Rajadamnern Stadium World Champion joined the promotion’s pantheon reserved only for the truly elite. He cemented his status among the pound-for-pound best strikers on the planet.

“ONE Championship gold is not just coveted among strikers, but also among MMA fighters and everybody around the world. And to be a part of that elite group has made me very happy,” he said.

Kana Morimoto credits Stamp Fairtex after dominant performance

Kana Morimoto showcased how to transform pain into power in her bid for redemption. The four-time K-1 Champion delivered a statement performance against one of the promotion’s most beloved athletes. She overwhelmed former three-sport queen Stamp Fairtex with relentless forward pressure and superior volume.

The 33-year-old Team Aftermath affiliate earned a unanimous decision victory in their atomweight kickboxing clash. Fueled by her shortcomings against Anissa Meksen and Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom, she channeled that heartbreak into her best performance yet.

Stamp carried icon status in ONE Championship, holding the distinction as the only fighter to capture World Titles in the promotion’s Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA divisions. But Kana gave the Thai megastar no room to breathe, pressing forward relentlessly while her intense pace never wavered from start to finish.

The multi-time K-1 Champion’s only regret involved being unable to finish her opponent. Stamp’s ironclad resolve carried her through three rounds of punishment, earning the Japanese striker’s ultimate respect despite the lopsided nature of the contest.

“It was in the first round that I started to adjust my distance and kind of get [in rhythm], and I felt that in the second and third rounds, if I had a chance, I would have been able to put her out,” Kana said.

“Despite having that time off, and having the ring rust. I was happy that Stamp came in in incredible condition,” she said.
