For a long time, there have been countless articles written about Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather. Thousands and thousands of words, maybe even millions of words during the build-up just on this site alone. You’ve heard the opinions and predictions of UFC fighters, boxers, promoters, or talk show hosts. The old cliche is that a picture is worth a thousand words, if that’s true, then that must mean the works of art surrounding May/Mac are worth billions. Either on the internet produced in Photoshop, slathered on a canvas in a studio in Brooklyn, or spray painted on a rolling Irish hillside, artists have created impressive works inspired by this giant fight. Here’s a collection of some of the best or most interesting.

Only a fight of this magnitude would draw someone to write expletives about Floyd Mayweather on a dandelion-dotted hill in Ireland. And who can forget the huge mural commissioned by Conor McGregor’s team of the man himself knocking out Money Mayweather? As much as this fight is a battle of old money fighting new money, or UFC versus boxing, it’s also a war creating two energies. The fanbase of both athletes is so passionate and large, it will be an incredible atmosphere in the arena come fight night. The same energy that inspired people all over the world to create these pieces of art.
