Bellator 214 Results: Jake Hager submits J.W. Kiser (VIDEO)

Former WWE star Jake Hager (aka Jack Swagger) made his professional mixed martial arts debut against J.W. Kiser at tonight’s Bellator 214 event.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Hager, announced that he had signed a fight contract with Bellator MMA back in November of 2017.

Meanwhile, Kiser will make his Bellator debut this evening after winning his last fight in Kansas City.

Round one begins and it takes Hager less than thirty seconds to earn his first takedown. Hager is trying to isolate an arm and lockup a kimura. Kiser avoids the submission attempt. Jake Hager postures up and begins raining down ground and pound in the form of punches and elbows. Kiser is in trouble here. Hager looks to lock in an arm-triangle choke. He gets it and this one is all over folks.

The defeat was the second in a row for the Bellator star, previously losing to Sergio Pettis that June down at bantamweight.
