Andre Petroski remained undefeated in the UFC with a decision victory over Wellington Turman at UFC 281. Andre entered the fight being 3-0 in the UFC with three stoppage wins. The hope for Petroski was to submit Turman and continue to prove he’s the best grappler in the UFC. Although that didn’t happen, Petroski earned a clear-cut decision win, which he’s happy with.

Andre Petroski is hoping to prove he is the best grappler in the middleweight division at UFC 281. Petroski is set to face Wellington Turman on the prelims of the stacked card at Madison Square Garden. After Petroski’s first-round submission win over Nick Maximov, he wasn’t sure what would be next but he wanted to fight at MSG. In order to get this fight, he had to make sacrifices. His coaches left for Abu Dhabi to corner Sean Brady, but that didn’t stop Petroski’s training.

Andre Petroski asked for the Nick Maximov fight as he believes it’s a good style matchup for him. Petroski competed on TUF 29 and beat Micheal Gillmore in his UFC debut. He followed that up with a submission win over Yaozong Hu. After that fight he watched Maximov beat Punahele Soriano and proceeded to ask the UFC for the matchup.
