Not long ago, Floyd Mayweather suggested that he was worried that Conor McGregor might miss weight for their Saturday-night showdown.

“Conor McGregor is extremely heavy right now, I think he is 164, so he still has 10 pounds to go,” Mayweather told Fight Hype. “Y’all get that extra money if he can’t make the weight, get those extra millions ready, Dana. Or the UFC, get them extra millions ready. Somebody gotta’ pay a fine, but he gotta’ get that weight down. A true champion is, like I said before, I true champion is disciplined and very responsible, but you know, we’ll see. I don’t think he’s gonna’ make the weight. Even if he do make the weight, that’s even better, but if he don’t make the weight, we still gonna fight. But it’s gonna’ be a be a heavy fine. Give me that money.”

More recently, Mayweather’s worries seem to have dissipated. In fact, he doesn’t seem to be concerned with what Conor McGregor is doing at all. Speaking to Ariel Helwani during a recent media scrum, the boxing great explained that he’s only focused on what he’s doing. And what he’s doing is eating fast food and participating in leisurely activities.

“You guys have seen my body on social media,” he said. “I’m shredded under here. And I’m pretty sure Conor McGregor’s somewhere around here trying to make weight. I know he’s struggling to make weight, but you know, I’m on weight, so I’m going to go eat me a burger, probably a Big Mac or a Whopper. One of them, I don’t know.”

Not exactly nutritionist-approved fight fuel…

“I’ve been at home enjoying life,” Mayweather added later. “You’ve already seen what I’ve been doing. I be roller skating, riding horses, going on dune buggies… what am I going to do today?
