In the main event of the evening, Michael Johnson will welcome Justin Gaethje to the UFC for his promotional debut. Gaethje signed with the UFC as a free agent in May after relinquishing his WSOF lightweight title. Gaethje holds a perfect 17-0 professional mixed martial arts record and will look to prove himself among the best lightweights in the UFC. Gaethje will have a good test in front of him as the #5 UFC ranked lightweight Michael Johnson will look to bouce back after his last fight against #1 lightweight contender Khabib Nuramgomedov.

All fighters made weight for their fights with the only close call being strawweight Ashley Yoder, who stepped on the scales at the last minutes of the two-hour weigh-in period. Yoder needed the towel for her weigh-in but came in under the limit at 115.5 pounds.
