Stipe Miocic realized his dream of becoming UFC heavyweight champion when he knocked out Fabricio Werdum at UFC 198 in Curitiba, Brazil.

Despite his new status and a UFC champion’s paycheck, Miocic hasn’t left his job as a Valley View fireman and paramedic in Cleveland, Ohio.

Miocic posted a photo to his Facebook page saying, “I’m the UFC Heavyweight Champion but I love helping people, I’ll never stop being a firefighter/paramedic. ‪#‎theChamp‬ ‪#‎teamMiocic‬”
